For the second year in a row, we’ll be offering our red, white and Christmas mixed cases, so if you like a little bit of everything then they are the perfect option.
Finally, there is a large format section, including magnums of our house Bordeaux claret a steal at £30 each, and the show-stopping centrepiece of a Jeroboam of Louis Jadot’s Beaune 1er Cru Celebration cuvee, arriving in a splendid bottle and original wooden case, the perfect gift or ideal for a large gathering.

Made the same way as the finest Champagnes, only 50% of that most sought-after press juice goes into this wine. Just like with vintage champers, the juice is fermented twice, and then spends a minimum of five years on the lees in deep caves to mature before release. Delicious and affordable fizz for Christmas.
A hidden secret in the wine world, Irroy is owned by Taittinger, but is left uninterrupted to make exceptional grower champagne. Sophisticated & refined, with delicate bubbles, it delivers vibrant notes of green apple, citrus & toasted brioche. Perfect for celebratory moments or gatherings this Christmas.
One of my finds of the year, I was blown away by this Blanc de Blancs English fizz, mistaking it for a top tier BdB from Champagne. Notes of green apple, white flowers, lemon tart, and a lovely chalkiness make for an effortless glass with real finesse. For £36 this is an absolute knockout; I always have a case in the house. 1 2 3
Launched earlier this year, Domaine Evremond is Champagne

Taittinger’s first English sparkling wine, made down in Corsham, Kent, on beds of white chalk. Edition I is the very special first release and it is outstanding fizz; wonderfully open with exemplary freshness and a sensuous mousse. One of the best wines made in the UK.
Gosset’s Réserve Brut scored right at the top end of the list at our blind champagne tasting in June, thanks to its wonderful dry style, with no malolactic fermentation and very low dosage to keep it fresh and mouthwatering. This multi-vintage wine beats most other Grand Marques hands down and is the ideal fizz for a special occasion. 4 5

Easy, sea-breezy Picpoul de Pinet is having a moment. Pique-poul translates as “stings the lip”, a reference to the grape’s mouth-wateringly high acidity, which makes it the perfect accompaniment to seafood & salads. As a delicious, lip-smacking fridge wine for Christmas to keep guests well-watered with a smile, look no further!
I adored this wine when I tried it with Larry in September. Produced from a blend of Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Gris this is a kaleidoscope of exotic flavours. Passionfruit, lime, bay leaf, pear, Turkish delight, lychee & rosewater. For just £20 a bottle is gives so much vinous joy.
The son of renowned winemaker Jorge Riccitelli, Matias has worked at some of the most prestigious wineries in Argentina, going it alone in 2009. This high altitude blend of Chardonnay, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc shows green apple, hay & herbaceous notes, underpinned by remarkable minerality. A textured treat. 6 7 8
Clos Fine Wine’s secret weapon & house white Burgundy. When I tried it I bought all the UK stock. An inviting nose with a kaleidoscope of golden apple, pear, yuzu & flecks of butter. A strikingly crystalline mineral structure with racy acidity to maintain freshness, whilst never losing that generous mouthfeel & luxurious finish. A must buy. 9

This special cellar release is made from nearly 60-year-old vines and is delicious Clare Valley Riesling. There is lovely texture here and immense purity, bursting with intense aromas of lime and hints of juniper berries. Wonderful as a festive aperitif or as an ideal accompaniment to chicken, turkey and smoked salmon. A must try!
One of the very best value Rhône wines, Mule Blanche is made from the Marsanne grape variety grown in Crozes-Hermitage. With a fresh, crisp taste & well-balanced acidity, minerality, and fruitiness, flavours and aromas of honey, peach and apricot percolate with a lovely saline backbone, making this the perfect festive food white.
One of the finest wines I tried in 2025, Sanford’s ‘La Riconada’ Chardonnay is mind-bendingly exciting, with ripe yuzu, golden apple, florals & lime zest. Brioche & wet stone minerality mingle on the palate for an invigorating and persistent finish. Super chardonnay from a brilliant producer, add this to your stocking this year.
Elevage Blanc is a blend of 63% Sauvignon Gris and 37% Sauvignon Blanc, and unlike anything you’ll have tried. No one else in Napa is making wines with Sauvignon Gris like this . Barrel fermented Elevage Blanc has incredible texture and structure to go with its rip-roaring acidity and persistence on the finish.

At just £12.50, this is the bargain of the Christmas tasting , showing that Bordeaux from an excellent vintage needn’t cost an arm and a leg. Showing notes of crushed berries, cassis, pencil shavings and flecks of cedar and mulberry, this is a wine perfectly in its drinking window right now, delivering oodles of pleasure.
This is a magnificent Dolcetto from a famous winemaking family, with a heady perfume of black cherry, balsamic, wild strawberry, blood orange, rosehip, white pepper and flecks of violet. On the palate it is beguiling, with a sensuous mouthfeel and soft tannins. This is such an elegant wine and the finish lasts for several minutes.
This is a brilliant wine which showcases the very best of what Pemberton in Western Australia can offer. There are heady aromas of ripe cherry, dark plum, and hints of cedar and spice. The palate is velvety and smooth, with crushed red berries, earthy undertones, and a touch of vanilla from aging in French oak foudres. Exquisite.
Tasting this last month with Larry Cherubino was a revelation. ‘Uovo’ comes from the ovoid tanks known as eggs in which the wine lees are continuously forced upward by an internal current. This gives voluptuousness, purity & texture, alongside juicy blackcurrant, redcurrant & bay leaf, and it is consistently light, clean & fresh.

Similar to Italian nebbiolo, Greek Xinomavro is having a moment. This super offering from an organically cultivated vineyard located at altitude on the eastern slopes of Mount Cholomon is just a short distance from the Aegean Sea. Expressive & complex with cherry, blackberry, sweet spice & vegetal notes, this is opulent stuff.
Imperial is arguably the finest producer of Rioja in the world, and the Reserva 2019 demonstrates that world-beating wines needn’t empty your wallet, too! I adore this wine, which is full, dense and velvety with flattering oak spice. The Reserva is deep in colour, perfumed, and full of generosity and spice. Perfect with beef & game.
One of the wine trade’s hidden secrets, Thalabert is brilliant value red with real panache. The silken palate is replete with black cherries, black olives & searing minerality. This is a totally exquisite red Rhône and well worth stocking up on as it is only available to us in a very small parcel of cases.
One of the finest Pinot Noirs I sampled in 2025. The nose is electric, with crunchy red fruits, wild strawberry, raspberry, blood orange, rosehyp, red cherry & red plum. A kaleidoscopic palate gives bite & punch, with ripe, red fruit. With superb structure & persistence, this is Chambolle-Musigny-beating for a quarter of the price.

A case containing one each of the following Château des Antonins, Bordeaux Superieur, 2020
G. D. Vajra, Dolcetto d’Alba, 2024
Larry Cherubino, Laissez Faire ‘Foudre’ Pinot Noir, 2024
Larry Cherubino, ‘Uovo’ Nebbiolo Cabernet, 2023
Halkidiki, Akrathos Xinomavro, 2020 CVNE, Imperial Reserva, 2019
Superieur, 2022, Magnum

From a brilliant, solar vintage of 2022, these magnums of our house Bordeaux make a splendid addition to the Christmas dining table, offering crunchy hedgerow berries, graphite, cedar, peony and rich cassis. At just £28 a magnum this is outrageous value and should be snapped up!
Louis Jadot, Beaune 1er Cru Célébration, 2018, Jeroboam

Louis Jadot make their Beaune Célébration cuvée only in the very best vintages - this is just the fourth ever release. Made from seventeen 1er Cru parcels in Beaune, this magnificent Jeroboam offers crushed wild strawberry, raspberry, blood orange & earthier undertones. Coming in a special bottle and magnificent wooden case, this is the ideal Christmas gift, or table centrepiece.
This is a stunner of a sweet wine, and a wonderful alternative for Sauternes or Tokaji lovers. Citrus peel, toffee, apricot, honeysuckle & ginger percolate on the nose. On the palate is lip-smacking acidity and freshness, all around a kaleidoscopic mélange of florals, orange marmalade and honey. A vinous treat!
This is a deeply aromatic 20 YO Tawny from Vallado, aged in very old 600 litre oak casks. I think that aged Tawny port is the perfect digestif for Christmas, fresher & more complex than red ports and with a delightful oxidative note which gives nutty aromas. I keep my bottle in the fridge and it goes perfectly with mince pies or stollen!

With botanicals sourced from the terroirs of the Rhône corridor, this is a gin unlike any you will have tried. Juniper, cade, chamomile, elderflower, wild thyme, verbena & mint are distilled with Le Pestrin spring water, making this fully biodynamic gin intensely floral, with stone fruits and classic Rhône depth. A must have this Christmas.
