Backup

Client

Step 1:

Before moving forward it is necessary to inform the client that we are beginning the process of upgrading to AU21 which is compliant to the national specification. This means a date and time slot must be agreed as the client will not be able to use the system while the update is being carried out

Create a database backup .bak file of the the target database for the chosen client and zip this file to reduce size.

Step 2:

Create a backup of the code folder in wwwroot for the chosen client.

Step 3:

Getting data SP ready

Upload both zip files above to the backup in Gdrive. This process has safeguarded the original data and installation.
