Backup
Client
Step 1:
Before moving forward it is necessary to inform the client that we are beginning the process of upgrading to AU21 which is compliant to the national specification. This means a date and time slot must be agreed as the client will not be able to use the system while the update is being carried out
Create a database backup .bak file of the the target database for the chosen client and zip this file to reduce size. Step 2:
Create a backup of the code folder in wwwroot for the chosen client. Step 3:
Getting data SP ready
Upload both zip files above to the backup in Gdrive. This process has safeguarded the original data and installation.
Once the client is prepared and the update process begins.
