How to give knitted garments the best care

DON’T WASH WOOL AIR IT OUT

It is rarely necessary to wash wool. Hang it outside to be aired out - preferably as humidly as possible. This cleans the wool and it regains its shape.

It is also a good idea to use your steam iron to steam your wool garment. This will also help your garment to regain its shape.

BE PREVENTATIVE, MAKING 2+2 = 5 It is good for wool to rest 24 hours after use, so the wool fibres have time to regain their natural elasticity and shape. Therefore, if you wear a knitted sweater every day, you need two to alternate between. This way, two and two equals five... Or in practice; 1+1 sweater = the durability of 3 sweaters.
