WE TRANSFORM LIVES - 30 DAYS OF CHALLENGE Avnija Etemi - Purchasing and Procurement Manager As a young manager at the head of the Logistics and Purchasing department, Avnija supervises a team of three logistics specialists: Francisco Branco, who manages the hospitality side of the business, as well as Semsettin Aker and Mickael Debrouze, who focus on medical suppliance. Together, they handle day-to-day logistics, coordinate with suppliers and couriers, and manage purchasing and technical costsplaying a central role between the Clinique’s operations and its external partners.
Avnija Etemi, purchasing and procurement manager
What challenge have you written on your paper during the June Breakfast ? My goal was to strengthen our team bond in the logistics department by continuing to organize team-building activities outside of work. We already do this naturally and spontaneously, and that’s what makes us strong, in my opinion. I wanted to ensure that this goes on and becomes a lasting tradition.
Our team works primarily with internal clients - that is, the Clinique’s various departments - but indirectly, our work also impacts our patients and guests. When logistics run smoothly behind the curtains, staff and guests can benefit of a better experience, often without even realizing it. Providing quality service inevitably requires a close-knit team focused on a common goal. How did you put this engagement in place, one month later ? We already have a solid foundation thanks to sharing meals in the cafeteria or working out together. The goal is to keep these moments going, and if time allows it, to go out in group regularly. I also wanted to organize more outings outside of work, such as after-work gettogethers or sports activities.
Continue to create spaces and moments for strengthening the Purchases and Logistics team’s bond
CLP INSIDE “I ASPIRE TO MAKE THE LOGISTICS AND PURCHASING TEAM FUNCTION LIKE A REAL SPORTS TEAM: WITH UNITY AND RESPECT.”
Does sport have hold special place in the logistic team’s heart ? Yes! All four of us share the same passion for soccer. We launched the CLP Soccer Club through the Move for Longevity community, which I’ve been leading for some time now. Practicing this sport together has clearly energized the team: it’s created real team cohesion within our group and also fostered great relationships and dynamics with other departments. That’s important! And it also reflects what I’m trying to build in our day to day: a work team that functions like a sports team—with harmony, mutual respect, and a desire to grow together.

Does it concretely change the way you work ? A lot, yes. I am convinced that part of our capacity to anticipate and organize our work better today comes from our team spirit. When there is mutual respect and trust between all of us, everything flows easily : we communicate better, we help each other out more naturally, and we can see potential future issues before they can escalate. What did this experience teach you ? That this type of activity, even simple, can really bring a team closer together, and that a close team is what’s most precious. That's why I've made it my personal commitment to ensure that this remains the case over time.

WE TRANSFORM LIVES - 30 DAYS OF CHALLENGE Yassin Ossor - Radiology technician Yassin has been a radiology nurse at Clinique La Prairie for four years now. Known for his positive energy, he is particularly appreciated by patients for his sensitivity and kindness. True to form, he suggested during the June Breakfast that we improve the patient experience in the radiology department, with the goal of reassuring patients and being even more attentive to their needs. Yassin, can you remind us of your role inside Clinique La Prairie ? I am a radiology technician, and my work primarily involves caring for patients who come in for tests such as CT scans or MRIs. What challenge did you write on your paper during the June Breakfast ? I suggested asking patients who are coming in for a major test, such as a CT scan or a MRI, to arrive 15 minutes before their appointment time. The idea was to have more time for us to help them feel at ease and to explain them the procedure and the reason for their test. What were your expectations from this engagement ? Two things. First, to better prepare the patient. Second, to avoid a domino effect of delays. An appointment that starts five minutes late on a Monday morning can quickly throw off the entire day’s schedule. By taking that time up front, we limit that risk, and it also improves the experience for all the other patients who follow.
« THOSE EXTRA FIFTEEN MINUTES ARE THE TIME NEEDED TO REASSURE, EXPLAIN, AND BUILD TRUST » Yassin during the interview forCLP inside, @M. Ropital
Concretely, what do these minutes look like ?
To welcome patients 15 minutes before certain tests so that we can take time to explain to them what is awaiting them, reduce their stress and answer their questions.
We explain the preparation process, what will happen, how they should get changed, how long the exam will take, and why they’re getting an injection, if applicable. The idea is to avoid rushing, which could cause the patient even more stress. An MRI is still a nerve-wracking exam for many people.
CLP INSIDE A month later, what changes did you observe ? An MRI is, of course, remains a procedure that can be stressful for some patients, and it’s not always possible to completely eliminate that anxiety. However, this extra time spent with patients makes a real difference. It allows us to take he time and explain the procedure more clearly, answer the patient’s questions, and reassure each person based on their individual needs. It’s also an opportunity to establish a more personal first connection, break the ice, and build trust even before the exam begins. After a month, I’ve noticed that this approach helps make the experience smoother and more reassuring. Patients feel more heard, supported, and prepared. This not only improves their experience but also strengthens the relationship of trust with the healthcare team. Even though the exam may still be intimidating, patients approach it with a better understanding and the feeling that they are fully supported.

Y. Ossor in the halls of the medical center, @M. Ropital
Did this project evolve beyond these fifteen minutes ? Yes, my colleague Razije Nuredini has joined the initiative. In particular, she has relocated the satisfaction kiosks to make them more visible in the waiting room. The idea is to see if taking this time with patients, combined with more accessible satisfaction kiosks, has a real impact on the patient experience. It’s still a little too early to say, but we should be able to see the results very soon.

A second chance for medical supplies The Swiss nonprofit organization Ukraine Fights For My Freedom (UKFFF) delivers direct humanitarian aid to Ukraine through donations and a network of volunteer drivers. By providing medical supplies, hospital furniture, vehicles, generators, and essential supplies, it supports civilians, hospitals, amputees, the elderly, and people with disabilities in war-affected areas. Their vision extends beyond the current emergency; their goal is to provide ongoing material and humanitarian support until the country is rebuilt. At Clinique La Prairie, a large quantity of high-quality medical supplies could no longer be used by our healthcare teams before their expiration dates, in accordance with Swiss regulations.
Unloading the donations and medical supplies in Ukraine
However, much of these supplies, including compresses, gauze, needles, antiseptic solutions, syringes, and other consumables that were still sealed and sterile, remained perfectly usable and valuable in regions where medical resources are running cruelly low. This solution was made possible thanks to the rapid and effective mobilization of the logistics team and the initiative of our sustainability manager and CSR specialist, who established contact with UKFFF and carried out this project. Together, they ensured that the supplies were safely loaded and transported in just two days to one of the humanitarian convoys traveling from Switzerland to the Ukrainian border. Once there, the equipment was handed over to volunteers, humanitarian organizations, civilians, and healthcare professionals, giving it a new chance in life.

CLP INSIDE IN THE SPOTLIGHT - LAKE CLEANING
Net Jazz: When the Montreux Jazz Festival, CLP, Nestlé, and the Casino of Montreux Join Forces for Lake Léman
Our wonderful team of volunteers in front of the results of their efforts
On Sunday, August 16, more than 60 employees from Clinique La Prairie, Nestlé, and the Casino de Montreux gathered on the shores of Lake Geneva, along the Montreux Jazz Festival grounds, for a major cleanup effort called Net Jazz. The goal: to restore this iconic location to its full beauty while raising awareness among everyone about the fragility of our lake’s ecosystem. The teams divided into three complementary groups: on foot along the shore; on the water’s surface, wearing fins, masks, and snorkels; and underwater, for those with PADI certification. The result of this wonderful day: 380 pieces of trash collected, including two shopping carts, an anchor… and a boat motor!
This local initiative reminds us that lake pollution remains an ongoing challenge. About 90% of the trash that ends up in the lake actually comes from land-based activities; it is often left behind on beaches, docks, or river shores before being carried away to the lake by the wind or rain. Given this reality, the dedication of our teams takes on its full meaning. A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time this Sunday for our lake and our region.

Cultifutura, the best quality growing in our restaurant Even if that name doesn't ring a bell yet, there's a good chance you've already come across it without realizing it: Cultifutura is the small, connected greenhouse currently growing in our restaurant, and it could very well become much more than just an indoor vegetable garden. The start-up’s history Founded in 2020, this innovative Italian start-up is based on a simple observation: we, as humans and consumers, are becoming increasingly disconnected from the origins of our food. Accustomed to supermarket aisles, we are gradually losing our connection to the earth and living beings. Cultifutura’s goal is to bring nature and food production back to the heart of our living spaces, including professional kitchens. Their solution: Cultevo Cultevo is a connected hydroponic greenhouse that allows you to grow more than 50 varieties of edible plants, soil-free and using up to 95% less water than traditional farming. The process is intentionally simple: plant, grow, harvest, and repeat - all tracked through an app that guides the plants’ growth.
Already here, in our restaurant It was precisely this freshness that won over our catering team: CLP now uses Cultifutura’s invention directly in its restaurant. Herbs, micro-greens, and lettuces are grown on site and harvested fresh, on the spot, preserving as much of their nutritional value as possible, a tangible benefit, since a large portion of vitamins is lost in the hours following harvest.
CLP INSIDE IN THE SPOTLIGHT - HEALTH RESORT From the greenhouse, straigth to the plate Grown on-site, the aromatic herbs and microgreens are used daily by our kitchen team to add freshness and flavor to our dishes. Some are delicately scattered across the plates, while others are served in small pots of fresh herbs placed in the center of our patients and guests’ tables. The kitchen team also oversees their growth and the maintenance of the greenhouses. Loann Ris, our apprentice chef, walked us through the different steps of this process: from harvesting the plants when they ’re ready for use and bringing them to the kitchen prep station so they can be prepared immediately, cleaning the greenhouses, sowing new seeds, and all to the careful monitoring of internal humidity levels. This daily care ensures fresh, highquality produce grown as close as possible to our patients, guests and collaborators.
Loann, planting seeds for Cultveo greenhouses.
« One of my responsibilities is to maintain the greenhouses. In addition to the pleasure of working with high-quality products, taking care of them is a true moment of calm and relaxation for me. It allows me to refocus and fully return to the present moment.»

CLP INSIDE IN THE SPOTLIGHT - HOLISTIC HEALTH CHALLENGE
SHARING THE WORDS SHAPING OUR IDENTITY
During the month of July, as part of a collaboration between the Human Resources department and the Holistic Health team, we launched an internal contest to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Clinique La Prairie Holistic Health supplements. We invited all employees to answer, in their own words, to a simple question: How are these supplements essential to our clients’ journey towards longevity? Your responses were as numerous as they were insightful, and they confirmed what was already clear: no one understands CLP’s vision and its impact on health and longevity better than the people who embody it every day. As we read through your responses, several key ideas emerged. Many of you emphasized that the supplements extend the Clinique La Prairie experience far beyond the stay, transforming a brief respite into a true daily health ritual.
Others highlighted their preventive, personalized, and science-based approach, which is at the cutting edge of research. Finally, one idea came up repeatedly, expressed in a thousand different ways: the goal is not just to add years to life, but above all to add life to years. All responses were anonymized before being evaluated by HR and the Holistic Health Manager to ensure an objective selection based solely on the quality and accuracy of the responses. Two employees stood out in particular and are the winners of this contest. Congratulations to Sophie Jullien and Nadina Bouchou ! Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their vision. You have demonstrated, once again, that Clinique La Prairie’s promise and excellence are in the best hands: yours.
CLP INSIDE IN THE SPOTLIGHT - Holistic health challenge
A closer look at our winners We were delighted to give our two winners a 6-month supply of Holistic Health BALANCE supplements! Nadina Bouchou, Head of the Nursing Department “Clinique La Prairie’s Holistic Health supplements are essential to our clients’ journey toward longevity because they help make a goal a reality: living longer and healthier lives. These supplements allow everyone to take a piece of the Clinic’s expertise home with them. Day after day, they extend the benefits of an approach that seeks not only to add years to life, but above all to add life to years. They are science-based and integrated into a unique holistic approach. They extend the benefits of the Clinique La Prairie experience beyond the stay, providing lasting support for each individual’s energy, balance, and resilience. Longevity is not a moment in time - it is a daily commitment, and our supplements are one of its cornerstones.”
Sophie Jullien, Physiotherapist “Clinique La Prairie’s Holistic Health supplements are essential to our clients’ journey toward longevity because the body is an extraordinary partner… as long as we don’t treat it like a machine with a lifetime warranty that requires no maintenance. Even our cells work around the clock: we might as well offer them something more than just coffee and good intentions.”
CLP INSIDE A WORD FROM OUR LIFE-CHANGER-IN-CHIEF
Simone Gibertoni - CEO
This year, Simone Gibertoni celebrates ten years at the helm of Clinique La Prairie. Ten years during which a century-old Swiss clinic, rooted in Montreux, became a global longevity ecosystem: Health Resorts, Longevity Hubs, Holistic Health, the Longevity Fund. Ten years also marked by a pandemic crossed without a single layoff, and a profound cultural transformation. On this anniversary, we wanted to take a moment to thank and celebrate him, not only for what he has built, but for the way he has carried us there. Simone, you're celebrating 10 years at CLP, congratulations! Do you remember your first day, the mindset you arrived with, and the vision you had? I remember it very clearly. I arrived with two feelings that have never quite left me: humility and ambition. Humility, because I was not a doctor; I came from the worlds of business and beauty, and I was walking into an institution with almost a century of history and a team of remarkable experts. So I arrived as a student, determined to listen before I changed anything. And ambition, because I could feel that Clinique La Prairie was sitting on something extraordinary. My vision, even on that first day, was simple to say and hard to do: to take this incredible heritage and carry it into a new era to become the global reference in longevity, without ever losing our soul.
Simone Gibertoni during the CLP Inside interview @C. Delplanque
Looking back, what are you most proud of, and which moment marked you the most? Not a building, a programme or a number. What I am most proud of is the people and the culture we built together. When I arrived, we were an excellent clinic. Today, we are a community of what I love to call Life Changers: people who understand that, whatever their role, they change lives.
What moment has had the greatest impact on you, professionally or personally? The pride on the faces of a team at the opening of a new destination, thousands of kilometres from Montreux, delivering our standard as if they had been doing it for decades. And it is also the quiet moments when a guest tells you, sometimes in tears, that we helped give them their life back.
« TEN YEARS AGO, I BELIEVED THERE WAS A POTENTIAL FOR CREATING A GLOBAL COMMUNITY. TODAY, I KNOW THAT THIS IS A REALITY. »
CLP INSIDE A WORD FROM OUR LIFE-CHANGER-IN-CHIEF In your view, what has been the most significant transformation experienced by CLP and its teams over the past decade? The transformation I am proudest of is the one in our teams. A decade ago, people came to work to do their job, and to do it well. Today, a receptionist, a chef, a housekeeper and a physician all understand that they are part of something that changes people's lives. That is a profound cultural shift, and it is the real engine behind everything else we have achieved. On a more personal level, what is the most valuable lesson CLP has taught you? Only a human can change a human. I came from a world that believed in data, systems and technology, and I still do. But this place taught me that all the science in the world does not, by itself, transform a person. People change because another person listens to them, understands them, earns their trust and walks beside them. The deepest luxury we offer is not a treatment or a machine, it is care, attention and time, given by human beings who genuinely want you to get better.
Simone Gibertoni during the CLP Inside interview @C. Delplanque
As you look ahead to the next ten years, what do you hope for Clinique La Prairie and its teams? I want us to stay the reference in longevity, and I want the ecosystem to keep growing. But expansion on its own is not the goal. The real transformation ahead of us is moving from creating extraordinary individual experiences to creating extraordinary, lifelong relationships. We already know how to change someone profoundly during a stay. The question that keeps me up is: what happens after they leave? « ASK YOURSELF EVERY DAY WHAT YOU CAN DO TODAY BETTER THAN YESTERDAY. » Finally, after ten years of this journey, what would you like to say to all those who bring Clinique La Prairie to life every day? Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Everything people read about Clinique La Prairie exists because of you. You are the soul of this house. A guest does not remember a machine; they remember the person who made them feel safe, seen and cared for. Whether you are a physician or at the front desk, in an administrative or service department, in Montreux or in a hub on the other side of the world, you are a Life Changer. And if there is one message I hope everyone takes from these ten years, it is this: never become satisfied. Stay hungry. Ask yourself every day what you can do today better than yesterday.
CLP INSIDE A WORD FROM OUR LIFE-CHANGERS
Aldina Ramos - Finance Fifteen years ago, Aldina joined Clinique La Prairie as an accounting assistant. Today, she oversees the finances of the Montreux clinic. Here’s a look back at a career built on determination, trust, curiosity, and hard work. When you rethink about your debuts as an assistant-accountant ? When I think back to when I first started, the first thing that comes to mind is how much time we wasted on certain tasks. We had to decipher the doctors’ handwriting on mountains of paper forms just to find the patients’ names—it was impossible for me to work that way. So, even though I had just started and didn’t have my manager’s support, I took the initiative to set up a labeling system by reaching out to the right people. Within two months, it was all sorted out. That proved to me right from the start that with determination, you can make things happen quickly.
Aldina Ramos, Finance Director
This year, you’re celebrating your 15th anniversary at the Clinique. What does this milestone mean to you ? Honestly, it doesn't feel like it's been 15 years, but at the same time, I tell myself that's a long time. To give you an idea, my daughter was 1 year old when I started, and now she's about to start her second year of high school! Time has flown by. When I stop and think about it, I say to myself, “Wow.” It’s really moving.
You had a great career evolution. Can you tell us more about it ? After my first position in billing, I moved to accounting, which had been my goal from the start. Under the new management, I transitioned to management control, a brand-new position at the clinic and, for me, a role I learned on the job. After a manager left, Stefano offered me a position as manager overseeing the accounting and billing teams. In the end, it was they who encouraged me to accept the position. Today, I am the Finance Director in Montreux. At every stage, I had to learn everything all over again.
CLP INSIDE A WORD FROM OUR LIFE-CHANGERS In your opinion, what qualities allowed you to get to your actual position ? My skills have evolved over time, but what really made the difference was trust: the trust I’ve always had in the Clinique and its leadership, and the trust Stefano has placed in me. Feeling supported, knowing that your manager believes in you, and also feeling the trust of your team—that’s what makes you want to stay. It’s something that’s built over time; it takes time, but it’s invaluable. More than technical skills, it’s the ability to find solutions that really matters.
What so you enjoy the most in managing a team ? The interactions with my team. They’re the ones who teach me things, and sometimes I don’t even know who’s managing whom anymore! (laughs) At first, it wasn’t easy: going from being a coworker to a manager of my own colleagues. I had some fears, but thanks to their support, I think I’m doing pretty well. Trust is essential in management. Transparency also matters a lot: my team knew what to expect from me. We’re here to work, not to stress each other out. My frank and direct nature has helped. What piece of advice would you give someone joining CLP today ? Keep an open mind. And, above all, communicate openly with your team. What motto guides you every day ? Trust as the foundation, strategy as the guidance.
«MY MANAGER’S AND MY TEAM’S TRUST GAVE ME THE WILL TO FOLLOW THROUGH IN THIS WONDERFUL JOURNEY.” A. Ramos for CLP Inside @C. Delplanque
What do you like the most about your job today ? That no two days are alike. That suits me perfectly. The last ten years have been so full of change, with a constant stream of new ideas and projects, and it’s allowed me to grow professionally, and therefore personally as well. Change is what I enjoy the most.
Simone Gilbertoni and Aldina Ramos at the Summer Party 2025, Montreux
CLP INSIDE CLP COMMUNITY - MOVE TO WORK CHALLENGE
A active and responsible month of July
This July, we invited you to take on the Move to Work Challenge by choosing active and sustainable modes of transportation to get to work: by foot, on a bike, or even riding an e-bike.
And the results speak for themselves: together, you traveled more than 1,700 km in July, saving nearly 270 kg of CO2 emissions, the equivalent of a round-trip flight between Geneva and the Longevity Hub in Madrid!
Every trip counted, whether by bike or on foot. Together, you helped reduce our carbon footprint while taking care of your health. Above all, this challenge was driven by a wonderful team spirit: a touch of competition, plenty of encouragement, and contagious motivation among colleagues. Everyone achieved their goals, and each participant received a reward for their commitment. A special prize was awarded to the person who covered the most kilometers during the month. LONGEVITY : CHRONIC STRESS, A CONTROLLABLE RISK In his latest LinkedIn article, Simone Gibertoni addresses a question he’s often asked: Does stress really shorten our lives? His answer is nuanced: there’s no specific number of years to subtract, but chronic stress does increase certain risks-particularly cardiovascular ones. He distinguishes between acute stress, which is useful and normal, and prolonged stress, which gradually wears down the body. The good news is that this risk can be managed through sleep, physical activity, breathing and mindfulness practices, and, above all, social connections, one of the most underrated factors in longevity.
