CCAC Fall Catalog 2024

Page 1

letter from leslie

To paraphrase Tom Hanks in my favorite movie, “Don’t you love the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.”

Like many parents, I’ve started back-to-school planning and shopping for sharpened pencils and scheduling fall activities. That’s why I’m so excited to share that CCAC has more After School opportunities than ever before. We have After School Art in the MakeShop and After School Dance in partnership with Mutual Dance Company. Plus, we’re introducing a couple of After School Theater classes this year, too!

School isn’t the only thing returning this fall. You can buy season tickets for the twelfth season of Sunset Salons at a discount. The series starts September 17 with a conversation about AI with a surprising member of the panel — ChatGPT. And join us on September 8 for the first Second Sunday Showtime performance in over four years. The lineup for this free, family friendly series includes Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Children’s Theater of Cincinnati, and the Cultural Center of India among others.

If crisp fall evenings are your favorite part of the season, be sure to reserve your place at an upcoming Carpool Cinema showing or a free concert at The Rooftop Sessions on CCAC’s unique rooftop terrace.

There’s much to be excited about this fall at CCAC. I encourage you to read through this guide to find out what you like best, and come spend time with us soon.

P.S. The last day to submit your artwork for The Golden Ticket is September 23. Don’t miss out! Visit cliftonculturalarts.org/goldenticket to learn more and submit.
