The light of the world turned from incandescent to intermittent, following the COVID-19 health emergency, in which many dreams faltered, yet more than ever, love and generosity were ever present. We would like to share our actions with purpose for the third trimester of 2020.

MORE CONNECTED AND STRONGER THAN EVER, THESE ARE OUR ACTIONS WITH PURPOSE Renewal of Scholarships With the start of the new academic school year, our annual renewal of scholarships is as follows: Excellence Scholarships 52 cards for purchasing school utilities: Collected at Marina Maroma, Dorado Royale, Dorado Seaside, TEC, VTC and members of CEFOR Pioneros. 54 excellence bonds to the value of $3,000.00 MXN
3rd award of scholarships "Un Gol por la Educación" 11 academic and excellence scholarships to girls from the Pioneros training centers, delivered through a virtual Zoom meeting.
Click Lomas back to school Dynamic Allied with Click Lomas, the efforts of our students during the new normal contingency were recognized, through a series of dynamic social networks. A total of 17 school utility purchase cards were given to Grupo Lomas employees.

Taught by: Mtra. Rocío Moreno. Through a dynamic Zoom workshop, the speaker touched on topics of home office working, task management, organization of teamwork and the adoption of a new work lifestyle.

Taught by: Mtra. Myriam Luna The purpose of this workshop was to sensitize the Leadership group about the importance of sustaining task motivation in the current context.
What is the gang up to? Since 2017, to commemorate International Youth Day, Casa de la Cultura has been hosting a youth festival for young people. The festival provides a space for dialogue and recognition of various youth groups in Cancun. Viral distribution across social networks ensured that 9 Latin American countries were connected with 40 hours of Facebook and Instagramtransmission and more than 3,479 followers.
TRAINING FOR SCHOLARSHIP FELLOWS #EducationWithPurpose Communication skills are key to the professional development of our scholarship fellows. To this end, in alliance with CLIA *, our fellows commenced their first term at A2 and B1 levels towards a certification in English.
Design Thinking Part II

Induction to Grupo Lomas

Imparted by: Department of Human Capital Derived from the new normality, our interns received training on the protocols for the first phase of re-entering the workplace, as well as learning more about the organizational culture of Grupo Lomas.
STRENGTHENING OF CSO’S
Donation to Fundación Ciudad de la Alegría Following a collection by multiple Lomas Angels, the following items were donated to the Home of bread and blankets: 74 items of clothing, 15 household items, 12 pieces of fiber, 20 adult diapers and 24 miscellaneous items.
Refuge - Pro kids Beach Bum Vacations Inc, an allied agency of Grupo Lomas, sent a generous donation of 200 USD to the Pro Kids Refuge in the wake of the COVID-19 health emergency. Fundación Lomas facilitated the donation.
Your used school stationary still works This is a social and environmental movement which began 2016 in Cancun Quintana Roo, with the aim of recycling used school supplies and for low-income children. For the 3rd consecutive year, Fundación Lomas I.A.P. participated as a collection center, collecting 5 boxes of materials. Towel Donations from El Dorado Hotels The following donations were received: 40 towels from El Dorado Maroma 80 towels from El Dorado Seaside Delivered to the Secretaría de Desarrollo Social (SEDESO), which in turn were delivered to the medical staff of the General Hospital of Chetumal, in the face of the Covid-19 health emergency.
DONATIONS Doctors, police, social workers, psychologists, teachers and leaders who today support great causes were also at one time students with many dreams. Education counts, we count on you.

We celebrated 14 graduates from the "Dream, Live and Transform" program via Zoom. Our graduates enjoyed a moving ceremony joined by: Fundación Lomas I.A.P´s Board of Trustees and Psic. Saúl Carro who shared new goals and messages of celebration.

Imparted by: Mtra. Myriam Luna The 2020 generation of Graduates Lomas closed a very important cycle in their lives by attending the workshop named #SerUnBecarioLomas workshop where they carried out different exercises of reflection, integration, development and gratitude.
NEWS Congratulations to our newest graduates in 2020: 12 Fellows in Projects and Academics. 14 Internship scholars. Fundación Lomas I.A.P. wishes to congratulate our intern Lizbeth Guadalupe Chuc for having received the 2020 State Youth Award in the Inclusive field.
