Wiggle Eyes – 0.7cm – 16477

Felt Sheets – White – 17541

Other Materials Required: Black Pen, Glue, Scissors and Template.

1. Download the template provided and print out one for each bilby you are creating. Carefully cut out your bilby shape onto coloured cardboard. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.

2. Use the templates provided on page 8 to cut out lots of different coloured cardboard bilbies. Then decorate your bilby with confetti. Attach with glue.

3. Cut out some ear detail from white felt. Attach the felt and a wiggle eye with glue.

4. Use CleverGlitz to add a touch of sparkle to your design. Allow to dry.

5. Use a hole punch to punch holes in the top of the bilby. You will need 2 holes at the top, approximately 1cm apart. You may also like to add detail with a black pen.

6. Once you have all of your bilbies assembled, cut a long length of jute twine. Thread the twine through the punched holes in your bilby to create a garland.

String Easter Eggs Materials: •

Embroidery Thread – Yellow – 48 Metres – 12382

Embroidery Thread – Turquoise – 48 Metres – 12381

Embroidery Thread – Pink – 48 Metres – 12378

Embroidery Thread – Purple – 48 Metres – 12379

Vegetable Oil – 2 Litres – 16210

Balloons – Coloured – Pack of 100 – 10003

Other Materials Required: Water, Paper Cup, Paper Plate, Gloves, Scissors.

You can make a whole set of eggs in different and colours sizes, and use them in a variety of ways! Try stringing them up as a garland or using them to create a beautiful centrepiece as shown on page 6.

1. Inflate a balloon to approximately the size of an egg and tie a knot.

2. Wearing gloves, coat the entire balloon in vegetable oil. This will help to remove the balloon once complete.

3. Squeeze some PVA glue into a paper cup and add a small amount of water, then stir in until runny (but not watery).

4. Unravel the first colour of embroidery thread that you wish to use and place it in the glue mixture. Make sure to coat the thread completely in glue.

5. Wearing gloves, start to wrap the now wet thread around your balloon. Wind the end around the balloon knot first to keep secure.

6. Once you have finished wrapping the first colour, take your second chosen colour and repeat steps 4 and 5.

7. Wearing gloves, wrap the second colour around the balloon until there is no thread remaining. Hang it up to dry.

8. Once completely dry, use scissors to cut a hole in the balloon so it deflates and starts to pull away from the hardened thread.

9. Gently pull the balloon knot, then push and poke the balloon to extract it. Your beautiful string egg is ready to use!

Pom Poms – Assorted – Pack of 150 – 16600

1. Cut the toes out of a sock just below the heel as shown. The large piece will become the body. Use the smaller section to create 2 ears. Cut them out as shown.

2. Thread a needle with white embroidery thread. Sew together the cut open end of the body piece.

3. Sew the ears together inside out, turn in the right way and stuff with wadding. Sew the ears to the top of the body piece – 1 on each corner.

4. Using a second sock and the photo as a guide, cut out your bunny’s legs and arms.

5. Sew the arm piece together inside out, turn in the right way and stuff with wadding. Sew the arm to the body piece. Repeat with the second arm.

6. Sew the leg pieces together inside out, turn in the right way and stuff with wadding.

7. Place the legs into the base of the body piece and pin into place. Stuff the body piece with wadding then sew the base of the body closed. Remove the pins.

8. Sew a pom pom onto your bunny’s bottom to create a tail. Cut a length of satin ribbon. Tie the ribbon around your bunny’s neck to create a bow.

9. Finally, thread your needle with black embroidery thread. Sew on face details starting with a square nose, 2 round eyes and a little cross for a mouth.
