Meet the Artists
Belle Leonard Artist & Graphic Designer
Belle Leonard is an Aboriginal woman from the Hunter Valley. She is an artist and graphic designer and has enjoyed making art in all kinds of mediums her whole life. Her art varies from Aboriginal paintings and digital art, to oil paintings and hand embroidery. In her free time, she loves to make art for her friends and family, learn new creative skills, and play with her dogs.
Belle loves art and design, athletics, music, and cute animals.

Kerri-Ann Taggart
Digital Artist
Kerri-Ann Taggart, most commonly known as Kez, is an Indigenous, Wonnarua digital artist from the Hunter Valley. She’s been creating art for as long as she can remember and most of her free time is dedicated to developing her illustration and drawing skills.
Kerri-Ann loves character design, films, spooky things and animals. You can follow all of her art shenanigans on Twitter @feardakez

Michelle Earl Artist & Basket Weaver
As a proud Darkinjung woman with Wonnarua ties, Michelle has a personal connection to the Hunter Valley and respectfully teaches and celebrates the traditional Aboriginal culture of the communities that reside across the valley.
The knowledge and skills that Michelle shares have been passed down for thousands of years, “it is, as it always has been”.
Michelle is a descendant of an ancient culture that rejoices its visual and oral history. “Our land, our people, our spiritual world is connected by our Elders passing their knowledge, skills and stories onto both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples so that it is not forgotten”.
