What happens when I get to school?

Some students will come to school by minibus or by taxi.
Some will be brought into school by their parents or carers.
You will be looked after as soon as you arrive at school.
When you get into school, you will put your coat and belongings away.

Are you excited about starting Key Stage 3?
Then you will go into your main classroom and sit at your own desk. Your teacher will check who is in school that day and check what you are having for lunch.
What help will I get?
Your teachers will give you all the help you need, but they will also help you to be able to do more things on your own.
Therapists and teaching assistants will be there to help you as well.
Jamie is working with his teaching assistant to learn about different types of vehicles and what they are used for.

What happens when I have done well?
When you have tried hard, you will earn ‘credits’. When you collect enough credits, you can choose a prize or even be named Star of the Week in the celebration assembly, which takes place every Friday.
Holly is proud to have won Star of the Week for her class. She has chosen a basketball from the prize cupboard.
