Curriculum That Inspires At Orion Eden Park, we are committed to ensuring that every student leaves with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in modern society. Our subject teams have carefully designed a broad and balanced curriculum that both inspires and challenges. It is thoughtfully structured to reflect students’ own experiences while expanding their understanding of the wider world. For example, students may study literature rooted in South East London alongside texts from across Asia in English or explore real-world applications of engineering by examining the mechanics of electric hire bikes in Technology. We deliver the full National Curriculum and extend beyond it, with a strong emphasis on developing essential skills in literacy, numeracy, and oracy.

Our highly skilled subject specialists bring the curriculum to life, while student voice plays an important role in shaping and strengthening our provision. State-of-the-Art Facilities Our students benefit from exceptional, high-quality facilities designed to enhance every aspect of their learning experience. Every classroom is fully equipped with modern ICT resources, and students have extensive access to computers and iMacs across the school. Our outstanding sports provision includes a full-sized astroturf pitch, multi-use games area (MUGA), basketball courts, sports fields, a fully equipped gym, dance studios, and a sports hall. In addition, students have access to specialist facilities, including fully equipped science laboratories, technology workshops, drama studios, music suites, and dedicated computer rooms ensuring a rich and varied educational experience.

Post 16 Our Sixth Form offers a wide range of academic and vocational courses designed to prepare students to shape their own futures with confidence. Whether progressing to university, apprenticeships, employment, or further study, students are supported in developing their ambitions and planning their next steps. This includes university visits, guest speakers, and personalised one-to-one careers guidance. We are committed to supporting every student in achieving their individual goals. Our broad programme includes both A Level and Extended BTEC Diploma pathways, providing flexibility and choice. Students are encouraged to aim high, including applying to Russell Group universities and Oxbridge, and are supported throughout the process with expert guidance on applications, course selection, exam preparation, and interview techniques. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional Sixth Form experience that fully prepares students for life beyond school. Our culture is one of high aspiration, where every student is encouraged to realise their potential and strive for excellence. The world of work is evolving rapidly, and the pathways available to young people 08
