Business partners Noor Rashid and Ian Harriman, with a strong track record in property development across Teesside, initially acquired land in Ingleby Barwick for development.
However, rising material and labour costs due to the Covid-19 pandemic made this plan unfeasible. After a conversation with Johnathan Bulmer, founder of Cleveland Containers, Ian recognised the potential in the self storage industry, given the growing demand across the UK.

Store Mill
Originally a farming operation, Store Mill Storage was created when owner Angus saw potential in diversifying his unused land for a new venture to make additional income.
