Summer Program Volunteer

Volunteer Role: Summer Program Volunteer

Reports To: Club Director & Volunteer Engagement Manager

Program Duration: June 8 - August 21, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Commitment: 1 - 2 days per week for 10 weeks, any amount of hours per day. To maintain consistency, the day/time should be the same every week.

Purpose of this role: To assist Club staff with daily operations and support programming throughout the day.

Grades Served: K-12th

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist with preparation, setup, and cleanup of daily activities and events

Support program staff during educational, recreational, or enrichment sessions, including field trips

Engage positively with participants and encourage involvement

Help supervise participants and ensure program rules and safety guidelines are followed

Assist with attendance tracking and basic administrative tasks

Serve as a positive role model and ambassador for the program

Complete Volunteer Onboarding process

Notify Club Director when unable to attend during scheduled hours

Ideal Volunteer:

18+ years of age, or if a minor, accompanied by an adult/guardian

Reliable and committed to volunteering on a weekly basis

Passion for working with youth

Can work in loud, fast-paced environments

Sensitivity to cultural differences

Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
