The Biology major at Cleveland State University allows students the opportunity to receive the training they need while pursuing their individual interests.
The Biology major at CSU provides education in the fundamentals of all the major areas of modern biology and training in current laboratory skills, while at the same time allowing students freedom to tailor an individual plan of study.
Undergraduate majors in Biology are offered in multiple special programs, including Honors, Pre-Professional (medicine, dentistry, veterinary sciences), Medical Laboratory Science, 4+1 combined B.S./M.S., and Secondary Teaching Licensure.
People with biology degrees can work independently or as part of a team.
Settings include laboratories at universities, companies, or hospitals; government agencies; offices; or outdoors, depending on what area of biology you engage in.
