FOR EFFICIENT

6 TIPS
CLEANING WITH SCRUBBER DRYERS

1. Keep Your Scrubber Dryer Clean And Dry

It is not possible to clean a floor with dirty equipment. All parts of the scrubbing machine, including all brushes and pads, must be thoroughly washed and allowed to dry before being used further. Keeping the parts dry will prevent extra weight of the machine which might hamper the cleaning process.

2. Keep The Recovery Tank lid Open After Use

Always keep the lid of the scrubber dryer machine open. This will prevent odourcausing bacteria to accumulate in the tank and will keep it dry. Keeping the lid open after use will enhance the efficiency of the machine. It also ensures that any fluid may not spoil its inner parts.

3. Don’t Go Too Fast

The efficiency of a scrubber dryer machine depends on the right amount of water and chemicals. Give adequate time to the machine for doing its work. Adjust the water flow rate and down pressure at the right level and allow for sufficient dwell time. The slower you go with a scrubber, the more efficient result is produced. This ultimately results in improved productivity.

4. Use A Chemical Portioning System

Cleaning without adequate chemicals won’t lead to efficiency. If you use too many chemicals, it will leave harmful chemical residue on the floors. Hence, a chemical dispensing system will help to adjust chemical levels automatically without manual intervention. This is effective in chemical extraction or purification, leading to sustainability of your machine.

5. Inspect The Squeegees And Blades Regularly

Always keep the squeegees in good condition and well-maintained. Remove and keep the squeegees and the blades well-inspected because if the squeegees are not wellmaintained, they won’t be able to pick up contaminated water and hence, lead to inefficient results. Using damaged squeegees or blades will render useless results.

6. Double Scrub If Required

Sometimes a Scrubber dryer machine is not able to remove the toughest stain with a single scrub. In such a case, double scrub is the only way out. Double scrubbing is an effective cleaning option for hardwood floors to remove stains. It removes disinfection by removing stubborn soils.
