Existing Sign Inventory

As part of the process of developing a new plan for wayfinding signs in the city, the Giffels Webster team conducted an inventory of existing wayfinding signs along primary traffic routes. It is important to document existing signs before the development of new wayfinding sign recommendations.

The field data collection team used the collector app that was created as part of ArcGIS mapping software. This mobile data collection tool enables the team member to collect the precise location of the sign, sign data (what does the sign say?), and a sign photo.
