W E L C O M E First and foremost, thank you to each one of you that has called, texted, came in person to view the offering, or looked through the catalog online. Your constant support of our family is truly humbling! We take such pride in what we do here at T Bar S, and none of this would be possible without you. It’s with pride and excitement that we welcome you to the 2026 Focused on the Future Bull Sale. This past year has been a whirlwind. These cattle have lived through the coldest, hottest, wettest, and driest environments many people can remember in their lifetimes. What’s worth noting is the bulls have performed, gained, and remained healthy through the duration of all of this. With that said, our family, along with most of you, still remain as optimistic as we can be about the beef business. There’s no doubt we are constantly trying to find ways to make these cattle better, both genetically and phenotypically. This set of bulls has accomplished more than we dreamed could happen. As part of our effort to make improvements, there have been some minor changes and additions to the sale book and information pages to follow. Our goal to be better does not just start and stop with the cattle. We know we have to continue to be better for all of you. Therefore, the way we record, manage, and present information has become critical. We will continue to try and improve what and how we do things to ensure that your bull shopping experience is the best it can possibly be. New this year, the bulls have been developed right here at T Bar S. We still work with Robert Jones at Great Plains Nutrition and Ryan Jones as our veterinarian, just as we have in the past. We love and appreciate all that the folks at Round Prairie Feeders have done for us, and we’re grateful for the care they took of the bulls in past years. However, we felt it was time to keep the bulls at home where we could take a more hands-on approach to recording data and management. Now onto the bulls themselves – Wow, what a set! We aren’t the type that say “This is the best set we have ever had” every year. We can promise this set will make creating next year’s set a challenge. These dudes are good. Monster average daily gains, incredible footed, big-nutted beef bulls are represented throughout the entire set, and they are backed by the best females we can produce. With the nation’s cowherd at an all-time low, we know female retention is a hot topic. Have faith that these bulls can produce the kind of females you want to have around year after year. With all that said, please come visit us. We would love to show you this set of cattle, and we are proud to talk about them. As always, we don’t want sale day to be the last time you hear from us. We want to be as involved or uninvolved as you want us to be. We sincerely appreciate your time and consideration. Reach out with questions at any time. Thank you again for your time. Thank You and God Bless
The Vehige Family

1 YOU ARE OUR PRIORITY. Sale day won’t be the last time you hear from us. It’s just the beginning of a great friendship and partnership. We make it our job to learn about your operation, your goals and your challenges. We don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk — putting boots on the ground of your operation to see it first hand. We want to make sure these bulls work for you.
2 WE’RE FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE. There’s a reason it’s our sale name. Every year, we push to make strides in our genetics. We study leading AI sires, make selective decisions for our ET program and ultimately, try and make matings to fit your needs. We strive to create a product that not only works for you, but advances our industry forward one bull at a time.
3 IT STARTS WITH THE COW. Our cowherd is built from the ground up. Longevity is not just another word around here. It’s the foundation. Our cows are strategically selected for udder quality, feet quality, maternal characteristics and fertility. We have cows over 10 years old still in production for these reasons alone. Simply put, there are no free passes.
4 QUALITY, GUARANTEED. By sale day, you’re seeing the best of the best. We do the work so you don’t have to. We start with strict culling for quality and disposition — three rounds to be exact. Each bull sells with a passed BSE, plus a one year breeding guarantee. They’ve been vaccinated, wormed and poured. Turn out ready, we stand by each bull 100%.

Leave your trailers at home. We offer free delivery within the first 500 miles. Why you ask? It goes back to our first point. We love to visit your operation and assess your goals. But also, we look forward to seeing the different environments our bulls work in so we can continue to make them better for you year after year.
8 WE’RE A FAMILY. Every decision made at T Bar S Cattle Company is done collectively by our family. We work side by side to ensure the future of our operation. We’ve dealt with every one of these calves from the day they were mated, born, weaned and beyond. It’s our livelihood and our passion. When you buy a bull from us, you become part of our family, too.
G E N E T I C
S E L E C T I O N
T O O L S understanding the data Expected progeny differences (EPDs) can be used to predict the average performance of a bull’s offspring compared to other calves in their contemporary group (a contemporary group being calves that were born in the same calving season, in the same year, herd, sex, and were managed similarly). EPDs are measured in the units of the trait, and show the differences in performance between animals. For example, if Bull A has a weaning weight EPD of 80, and Bull B in the same herd has a weaning weight EPD of 70, then bull A’s calves would be expected to be 10 pounds heavier at weaning than those of bull B. It is important to remember that this number is just a prediction of performance. Actual performance depends on many factors such as environment, management, etc. This being said, an EPD is by far the most reliable indicator of an animal’s genetic merit due to the amount of information incorporated into the calculation. The American Gelbvieh Association uses all available information to predict an animal’s EPD. This information includes: individual performance, pedigree, progeny and grand progeny performance, plus available genomic information. All this information is combined into one easy to use number for selected traits that helps breeders make genetic improvement in their herd.
GENOMIC ENHANCED EPDs — Purchasing bulls with genomic-enhanced expected progeny differences (GE-EPDs) allows commercial producers to make selection decisions with less risk due to an increase in the accuracy of a non-parent animal’s EPDs. The addition of genomic data to an EPD is comparable to adding another source of information, like progeny or pedigree records. Specifically on lowly heritable traits, such as reproductive traits, genomic data has the potential to greatly increase the accuracy of an EPD.
ACROSS BREED COMPARISON — Because AGA breeders have chosen to collaborate with members of other breed associations to pool their pedigree, performance, and genomic data, most Gelbvieh and Balancer® animals’ EPDs can be directly comparable with other animals in the registries of other partner breed associations within the IGS group. Gelbvieh and Balancer EPDs that are excluded from direct comparison included: heifer pregnancy, 30-month pregnancy and dry matter intake. The $Cow, efficiency profit index and FPI™ indices are unique to the AGA and are not comparable across breeds.
CALVING EASE EPDS — AGA now allows for the use of data from contemporary groups with no variation. This change resulted in thousands of calving scores and birth weights becoming available for genetic prediction in the BOLT-powered EPDs, reducing bias and providing you with calving ease direct (CED) and calving ease maternal (CEM) EPDs with even more power to predict the difference in ease of calving in heifers.
CARCASS EPDS — A true multi-trait evaluation with all carcass and ultrasound traits plus weaning weight and post-weaning gain is used. This compared to the old evaluation where carcass EPDs were simply an index of the carcass trait and its corresponding ultrasound trait leads to a slight increase in accuracy for carcass EPDS.

Ladies and gentlemen, START YOUR ENGINES! We’re so excited to initiate this year’s offering with what we feel is without question the best purebred Gelbvieh bull ever raised here at T Bar S. 1489N is out of none other than our most prolific donor – A La Mode 7B. This bull came off his recip mother at 700 lbs. and posted a lifetime ADG of 4.4 lbs./day. This scale-crushing, perfect-footed, massive-bodied beast is as sound, good looking and well balanced as we have ever raised. I genuinely believe you can’t afford not to have him on the team.

If you have talked to Kyle or me in the last six months, you’ve heard us talk about this bull! Arguably as good phenotyped of a bull as we have ever put together. Insane herd bull presence, topside shape, and hip width. He’s awesome footed and so dang sound. This bull is so clean and sharp in his look while still keeping growth and performance in check. He’s on my shortlist of favorites ever here. Keep all the daughters out of him. There’s a good chance they’ll change your cowherd.

Ricky Bobby once said a quote that stuck out to me – “Lucious, it’s time to let the cougar loose.” Here he is folks, THE BEST BULL EVER RASIED HERE. 1496N alone is worth the trip to Billings! He’s a monster in every aspect of the word. His feet, legs, muscle, body, and nuts are all huge. He’s flawless on the move to boot. If you’re serious about adding performance while keeping maternal quality in check, just own him. 700 lbs. off the cow, 1445 lbs. at a year, and a set of growth numbers to make your mouth water.

Here’s another new mating for us! This big-scaled son of Rise Above has the look of an elite female maker! Good headed, long fronted, and big in his center body. You’ll love the foot quality and balance this bull has. He still maintains the growth figures and carcass merit you demand as well. This is a really good bull! He’s in the Top 20% or better for WW, YW, CW, CFAT, and $GAIN.

Flushmate to Lot 6! 5095N is the cleaner fronted, cleaner sheathed brother. This bull is good structured and really sharp looking. He has an abundance of muscle shape down his top and from behind. He’s in the Top 10% or better for WW, YW, CW, MWT, CERY, and FPI.
The first son of Pit Boss 205K to be offered, and what a way to start! This bull is dang good! He will add size and length, his foot quality is second to none, and he glides around with zero effort. Look to Lot 8 to add frame and length of body – and to keep muscle and performance in your calf crop. His actual WW was over 790 lbs., and he had a YW of 1390! JGPG Pit Boss 205K ET made his mark as a powerful, proven herd sire, combining the phenotype, performance and genetic merit that have made him a standout in the Gelbvieh breed. His impressive record and ability to consistently transmit quality made him a sire we were proud to build around, and his influence will continue through the progeny he leaves behind. We are incredibly excited to see what his calves will bring and the impact they will have on our program moving forward. Unfortunately, we lost Pit Boss far too soon, making the opportunity to carry on his legacy through his progeny that much more meaningful.

I would bet you my last $100 you didn’t plan to turn the page and see a gray one! So, here’s the deal. We debated long and hard about whether we should offer this bull or not. While we don’t plan on making a habit out of having one this color, good cattle are good cattle, and 1451N is dang good cattle. He’s big, stout, rugged, and really good footed. He was 755 lbs off the cow and 1340 lbs at a year. He can make them black, red, or smoke – but we know he will make them good. Don’t hesitate because of his color.
A cowboy’s dream!! If you have an interest in adding size, length, muscle shape and bone, Lot 12 is a bull you need to have on your radar! 1452N is out of a beautiful-uddered cow that has landed sons in our most progressive customers’ hands. Here’s a big weaning and big yearling weight bull that has perfect feet and legs. He ratioed a 113 with a 4.1 ADG from birth to weaning!

1444N earned the name Clifford. Here’s the gentlest bull with the best demeanor in the history of the Focused on the Future Bull Sale. Outside of his incredible temperament, here’s a scale-crusher at 740 lbs off the cow and 1325 lbs at a year. He’s a double-digit calving ease bull with an aggressive growth spread. Take him home, pet him, love him, and send us pictures. We will miss having him.

Lot 15 represents a really good kind of bull. Here’s one with big feet, a stout foundation and plenty of length and frame. He’s a sound-made bull that looks and reads to have great calving ease. His mother has done a great job and has never missed.
Calving ease deluxe here. His mother is a really good-uddered cow that does a great job and maintains her condition. 1472 is in the Top 25% of the breed for Calving Ease Direct (CED). Plus, he exploded to a 745 lb weaning weight. Look for this bull to make fast growing feeders. However, we see a lot of value in him making replacements. He’s in the Top 45% of the database for Maternal Profit Index.

For those that retain any ownership or have a desire to make sale-topping feeder cattle, here’s a bull that can do it. He’s progressive in his growth and carcass columns all while maintaining a really good look in person. Good feet, great shape, and a balanced profile all describe 1455N. He’s one of the high-indexing bulls in the offering. Lot 19 is in the Top 3% for 3% for FPI and the Top 4% for TPI. Purebred alert!! Pictures are worth a thousand words. This is a really good bull. He’s good looking, good muscled, and sound structured. In person, this bull’s on point. Genetically, he combines a neat double-digit calving ease figure while still being in the Top 25% for both weaning and yearling figures. 720 lbs off the cow and 1465 lbs at a year had this bull over 4lbs of ADG and a 111 weaning ratio. He ranked second in his contemporary group.
Here’s a good-looking, high-percentage bull with a strong growth spread. 811 adj weaning weight and 1242 adjusted yearling. Yes, there’s performance. However, we see him being a really strong candidate for female retention. His combination of Calving Ease, Milk, Calving Ease Maternal, and heifer pregnancy, all land him strongly in the Top 30% for Maternal Profit Index. Don’t forget this bull is better than breed average for both growth markers and marbling, too.

Here’s a dang good 75% bull that’s double-digit calving ease and still posted over 100 yearling ratio. This sharp-looking, clean-made bull is really strong in his topline and foot quality. This is a good kind of bull that will excel in both feeder and replacement scenarios. He’s a solid choice for those searching for a good calving ease bull that’ll make them grow.

Front-pasture kind. Lot 25 is the kind of bull that always catches your attention. He’s super attractive from the side, as sound as they come and from behind the cattle — chock full of red meat. He ranks 5th Overall in the sale for ADJ WW and 3rd Overall for ADJ YW. He’s in the Top 4% of the breed for MARB. Smile when you sell his weaned progeny, be happy to feed them out, or keep back a set of females your neighbors will be jealous of.

I LOVE THIS BULL! Here’s a phenotype we can all get behind! Awesome structured, dense bodied, and big hipped. He was born unassisted out of a first calver, with perfect udder. Regardless of your goals, this bull can achieve them. He ratioed over 100 on both weaning and yearling. He’s in the Top 45% or better for CED, HP, STAY, MARB, DMI, and TPI.

Perfect blood red color and quality to spare. Kyle and I both love this bull. Big figures on paper, big figures in person, and overall, a really high-quality individual. He’s sound, he’s big bodied, and he’s stout. Study hard here. Adjusted to 771 lbs off the cow and 1335 lbs at a year. He’s in the Top 40% or better for WW, YW, CEM, DOC, YG, CW, CREA, MARB, CFAT, MWT, CERY, FPI, and TPI.

This 395H son was the number 2 ranking bull in his weaning contemporary group to ratio a 111. This big-nutted, husky-bodied bull has the look of a cow-changer. He’s homo-polled and will make the kind it takes to top the market!
A homo-polled Casino son with all the shape and muscle you could ask for. This long-bodied bull has a really good top shape and plenty of expression of muscle throughout. He’s in the Top 40% of the breed or better for WW, YW, MILK, TM, DOC, CW, YG, CREA, CFAT, DMI, $GAIN, MWT, and CERY.

One of the premier bulls to sell in America this fall! This is the kind we hoped to produce when we made our introduction into the Red Angus breed. N1432 is without question one of the best bulls we have ever produced, regardless of breed. It’s hard to put into words all the good this individual does. He’s incredible in person. Perfect feet, massive construction, round bodied, sharp looking, and extra wide! Numerically, he is progressive and workable. To combine his double-digit calving ease figure with impressive growth, maternal and carcass figures allows to index in a way that’ll keep you competitive. His actual performance data is scaleshattering. Off his first calf heifer mother, he adjusted to 953 lbs at weaning and 1511 lbs at a year. Here’s one we would love to utilize semen interest out of. This bull is really good.

The only black-red carrier in this year’s Red Angus offering. This son of our No Substitute bull is really stout. He’s got a huge back and hip shape and is arguably as wide based as any in the entire offering. Look for him to improve number set across the board and to make them moderate and low input.
WHAT EXACTLY IS A BLACK/RED CARRIER?
Our bulls are out of registered Angus cows and sired by a Red Angus bull. Their genetic makeup can be explained by the table on the right. These bulls will sire predominately black calves, with a 25% chance of red calves when mated to red cows.

BLACK DAM
Since Angus were created with a red gene considered as a recessive allele, it carries over to other cattle when mated to that specific animal holding the red recessive trait. This recessive gene still means that animal can be a classified as a purebred if not crossed with any other outside breed. They are technically in American Angus, but since RAAA is an open herd book, they allow producers to register those animals and can still be classified as purebred Red Angus.

We couldn’t think of a better way to start off the Angus offering other than with 1480. Lot 49 is the combination of the famed Sitz Barricade with our cornerstone Angus donor, BRMF Miss Denver 317. The Barricades need no introduction to the cattle industry, and we all know how much I love them. 1480 represents the type of Angus we are trying to build. He’s got perfect feet and is slick haired and big bodied. He has muscle to boot. This is a big-time maternal bull. Keep his daughters and know his male progeny will weigh up come sale day. We encourage you to scan the QR Code for his updated EPDs.

A full brother to our lead off Angus bull T Bar S Barricade 1480, Lot 50 follows his type and kind closely. 1479 is a hair-shed deluxe. We’ve loved watching this bull develop. He’s a moderate-framed, striking bull that’s remained extremely slick haired. Bid with confidence on sale day. This good-footed, sound-made herd sire prospect has the muscle and bone to support plenty of work come turn-out day.

1469 is the kind you want a load of feeders out of. This is a big scaled, performance son of our BRMF Miss Denver 317 donor female and the 3rd overall AI Sire for registrations in 2025, Ellingson Prolific. Justin and I wanted to use Prolific for years, and after we saw 1469 at birth, we both knew we should’ve used him sooner. He is as slick haired, pounds heavy, and sound as you want them. We love his head shape, shoulder, and overall dimension. We think he’s the kind of bull to add performance but also feel strongly he will follow in his sire’s footsteps and make the kind of females you’ll want to keep in the herd.
I’m very passionate about making Angus as maternal-oriented as we can without giving up performance, and I think that best describes 1471. I love the breed character of this bull – true Aberdeen headed, good shouldered, and big bodied. Lot 52 is a good footed, deep heeled bull that’ll be quick to catch your attention under visual appraisal. He’s another extremely slick-hided bull that I believe will work in a multitude of climates and in a variety of operation types. We highly recommend you keep the daughters, but just like his full brother, this one will still inject pounds and performance in male progeny.

With the nation’s cowherd at an all-time low, female retention has been the forefront of a lot of conversations in the beef business. We are proud to offer maternal-focused bulls like Lot 53. Take one look at him and he screams female-maker. He’s a smooth-shouldered, big-bodied bull, whose structure is built for longevity. He’s got plenty of growth and performance built into his pedigree but should still be comfortable during calving season. He’s really quiet to be around, and once again, SLICK haired. Our good buddy Ben Weis told us Bear Mtn North Star was a must-use Angus bull for our heifers, and we couldn’t agree more. 1429 is good headed, smooth shouldered, and expressively muscled. A scale-crushing Casino son that has all the length, shape, and power you can ask for. He adjusted 935 lbs off the cow and 1383 lbs at a year. 48N is your source for length, growth, and extension, and he does it all in a doubledigit calving ease package.
Cool tandem of calving ease and carcass merit here in 1426N. This Stimulus son is in double-digit calving ease and is still better than breed average for every single carcass trait. He’s in the Top 35% for FPI and TPI. His length, muscle, and performance data suggest this is a really great option for all scenarios.

Insane ratios here! This scale-buster had an adjusted weaning weight of 1028, which landed him at a 128 weaning ratio and as the leader of his contemporary group. Calving ease combo! Lot 61 is a double-digit calving ease option with a really explosive growth spread. He adjusted over 814 lbs off the cow, and he’s over a lifetime ADG of 3.5. Use this bull to make fast growing cattle, and if you pay attention to your heifers, he can work there. He’s in the Top 45% or better for CED, WW, YW, YG, and CFAT.

Here’s arguably the best We the People son to be offered in that bull’s production history. Lot 63’s tandem of look, balance, and muscle shape make him stick out. His consistent figures and growth records suggest he will work in a multitude of production goals. Have this bull on your radar.

Here’s one that’s homo-polled and really good. He will make them stout and wide without sacrificing foot quality and maternal strength. This is a new mating for us. Lot 65 is one of the highest Average Daily Gain bulls in this year’s offering, plus he’s backed by a perfect-uddered Merlin daughter that doesn’t miss.

An outside the box pedigree here in Lot 66. This Baller son has a strong look of growth. He’s big scaled and really impressive on the move. He’s in the Top 20% for both WW and YW. Look for Lot 66 to be a good producer of long-sided, fast-growing cattle.

“Unicorn” is the best way to describe this bull. In person, he’s huge ribbed, awesome footed, sharp looking, and as smooth as glass. He comes from a great-uddered, highly fertile cow that has never missed. Genetically, this bull is incredibly far reaching when it comes to overall progression. He’s a double-digit calving ease bull that is still better than breed average for both growth columns. He’s in the Top 7% for his stayability figure and is in the Top 16% for marbling. He ties everything together in a way that his PRO S is in the Top 9%. It’s rare to find them this progressive in their numbers and phenotype.

I love this bull! He’s moderate, huge bodied, incredible footed, and sharp looking. I would challenge you to come see him in person. It was 105 degrees on picture day, and he was tired… and so were we. This is an elite phenotypic bull with a really awesome spread from birth to weaning/ yearling. He’s a 13 CED to a 134 YW. He’s still a 113 PRO S, and his carcass figures are all very in check.
Here’s a sharp dude! This one is awesome pedigreed and really good in person. This is a proud bull with great feet and legs. His extra size and length of body stands out, but he’s better than the Top 35% of the breed for CED, WW, and YW.

This bull is a beast. He’s as big boned, big scaled, and stout as any bull you’ll see. There’s a lot to like in his length and performance. He matches all that up nicely with his figures. He’s in the Top 4% for both WW and YW, and you can expect his fast-growing cattle to grade and his daughters to be highly fertile.

This son of the immortal HXC Grindstone is fun to study in person. Blood red, huge legged, and big bodied and nutted. This bull is as manly in his head, neck, and crest as any in the offering. We like them stout, and this one fits the mold.
High growth here in 7111N. This big scaled, long bodied bull has great feet and the look of a growth bull. He’s better than the Top 30% for both WW and YW. In person, his extra shape and thickness should positively impact the next generation.
