Performance
As building codes become more stringent, it is becoming more crucial to engage a specialty facade subcontractor with a track record for superior performing systems. Ventana systems are among the top performing thermal systems in the market, and have been laboratory tested to hurricane wind loads.
Kellogg School of Management - Northwestern University Evanston, IL | Case Study
Ventana was contracted to provide the facade systems on Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Northwestern wanted a high performance building that would last 50 years. Ventana systems were engineered to meet stringent u-values for thermal performance far in excess of code requirements. By collaborating with our client, Ventana was able to achieve a .19 composite u-value utilizing the following enhancements:
• Triple insulated glass
• Thermally broken framing
• Advanced materials in lieu of aluminum for ancillary parts
The thermal performance of our systems results in annual operating savings for the owner of the building.
Design-Assist
Ventana believes design-assist is the bedrock for any monumental facade project. Working collaboratively in the first few months of the project lays the groundwork for a facade that is on time, on budget, and meets the design teams desired aesthetics.
Dominion Energy Downtown Office Tower Richmond, VA | Case Study
Ventana worked in a design-assist delivery model on our Dominion project. Collaborating with Pickard Chilton and Hourigan/Clayco, we were able to deliver a 300,000 SF custom curtainwall within 24 months. During the designassist process, we offered the following to Dominion:

At 545 Wynn, Ventana offered our client a complete building envelope solution, incorporating metal panels into our system to provide one subcontractor for the building envelope. This offers the following benefits:

100 Above the Park St. Louis, MO | Case Study
At 100 Above the Park, the only way we could achieve Studio Gang’s iconic design and give the owner a world renowned building was by leveraging our global supply chain. Ventana has boots on the ground in Asia, and employs 3rd party quality control to ensure a best in class product. Ventana has successfully imported over 2 million square feet of facade products from overseas. This supply chain has allowed us to hit aggressive schedules; on this project we enclosed a floor every four days because we had enough backlog of material in the US ready for installation.

Chicago, IL | Case Study
Ventana is a pioneer in hitting diversity targets and has done so in multiple geographic markets. On our project at 167 North Green Street, we were able to achieve 25% MBE and 5% WBE, as well as achieving local participation goals.
BJC Healthcare Facility
St. Louis, MO | Case Study
At our BJC Healthcare Facility project in St. Louis, our team was able to achieve 22% MBE and 1% WBE enterprise involvement, as well as 40% MBE and 11% WBE in employee participation. Ventana has also received DBE project credit in vendor fabrication.
