CREATED FROM THE INSIDE OUT Gateway Plaza in Richmond, Virginia is the first and only soaring, multi-tenant office tower in the region created from the inside out to meet the unique needs of companies like Richmond’s largest law firm, McGuireWoods and TowneBank. The project includes a lobby sculpture and mosaic designed by world renowned artists, Carol Mickett and Robert Stackhouse.

WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS IS CONSTANTLY IMPROVING Clayco is currently building the new WUSM/BJC Mid-Campus Center (right) and the Environmental Health and Safety Building for the medical campus as well as Rubelmann Hall (above), as part of the South 40 redevelopment project.

MORE THAN JUST A SITE PLAN The ultimate form of site development lies in the intersection of the art and science of landscape architecture. Forum Studio is currently working on the Great Rivers Greenway project in St. Louis (left).

OKLAHOMA GAS & ELECTRIC Clayco, RAMSA and Forum Studio are teaming up for the new OGE Headquarters and redevelopment in downtown Oklahoma City. Still in the design phase, this project promises to change the skyline of this great city.

When we started Clayco in 1984, the building business had become adversarial and its processes antiquated. There had to be a better way.

We may not have had a roadmap, but we had a goal. We assembled a team of the best and the brightest and forged a new approach to real estate development and design-build. I figured that along the way we’d change a few paradigms, find some efficiencies, collaborate with great people, and make our clients very happy. But I had no idea just how far we would go.
