Friends, We are delighted that you have chosen to join us for Wish Night El Paso. Tonight is about one thing: the power of a wish. Specifically, the transformative power of supporting our local El Paso children who are navigating some of life’s most challenging circumstances. Wishes granted change lives; we’ll explore that tonight. Yet, wishes are granted because you have chosen to come together as philanthropists, volunteers, and mobilizers to make a difference for our kids in profound ways.

Tonight, you will meet some of our incredible wish kids. Their stories are impactful and inspiring, and I hope they help you deepen your understanding of the power of a wish come true. Whether it’s the surprise of a wish revealed or the impact a wish leaves on a family and our community — one truth remains: wishes work.

Our research shows that wish kids have better outcomes, including fewer unplanned hospitalizations, and parents tell us that wishes are often a turning point in a child’s treatment. Beyond saving money and lower hospital utilization, when a child proclaims his or her wish (not anyone else’s, but their very own!), coupled with the anticipation of the wish being granted, something magical happens. The intersection of taking control and dreams fulfilled can catapult the desire to push through the most difficult health journeys, changing their reality of what is possible.

So tonight, we celebrate the power of a wish come true for our most cherished El Paso kids. We hope you are wow’d, enjoy a few laughs, and are moved to support our cause. But please do so with joy, because that simple feeling has the power to change lives. Maybe tonight it will be yours.

The journey begins! A child is referred to Make-A-Wish by their doctor, social worker, or family member.

Many children wish to go to Disney World or the beach, but others come up with amazingly creative ideas, from wishing for a backyard bat cave playhouse to a magical Christmas experience.

Prepared in the comfort of your home, all you need is to pick a date, complete a meal questionnaire, and leave the rest to one of El Paso’s premier personal chefs, Gabe Onsurez. The menu will include an amuse bouche, salad/soup course, intermezzo, entrée, and dessert.

Package includes chef and servers, 12 bottles of 2021 Caymus Napa Cabernet Sauvignon (750ml), and $250 towards a beautiful arrangement(s) from Magnolia Flowers.

Restrictions: Groceries not included. Not available Sundays or holidays. Expires August 2024.

ARGENTINA DOVE HUNT

Value: $10,000

Donated by: Pointer Outfitters This is a bucket list hunting experience for 4-hunters for 4-nights with accommodations! You will be treated like royalty in every way. Experience lavish field lunches and a hammock siesta afterwards if you choose. The birds are plentiful and the shooting is unlimited with some guests shooting 8,000 times. Your field assistant will keep your gun loaded and do all field work for each hunter. At our lodge you will have a private and cozy experience in this well appointed estancia. You will be fed a full breakfast and amazing dinners. You even have a butler to handle every need. Argentine culture is a wonderful experience and a perfect travel hunting destination.

Restrictions: Must be used within 3 years from date of purchase. Voucher may be extended for up to 24 months for a fee of $650. There must be a minimum of 4 hunters. Less than 4 will incur a $650 cost to validate the voucher. Hunters may be added for an additional charge. Upgrades available to a mixed bag hunt of ducks, dove and perdiz and fishing or to alternate dove lodges.
