OF PUERTO RICO ROAD 8887, KM. 11.9 SAN ANTÓN WARD, CAROLINA, PR 00987 RSP -2 Requesting Proposals for Disaster Recovery Experts for Professional Services Regarding Project Manager Services and Inspection Issued by ASPIRA Inc. de Puerto Rico Request for proposal available until November 3, 2021 (until 1:00 p.m.) Questions will be answered until November 9, 2021 (until 1:00 p.m.) Bidder must be submitting the proposal via email: aspiraproject@aspirapr.org on or before: November 12, 2021 (until 1:00 p.m.) ASPIRA Inc. of Puerto Rico seeks professional Project Manager experts with proven experience in FEMA projects, specifically in repairs and mitigation of damages caused to building structures by Hurricane María or similar natural events. The professional expert will provide project/construction management and overseeing inspection, planning, design, and construction/repair of a FEMA project. Reviews daily inspection reports; prepares periodic reports on the progress of all contracts; compiles and maintains records on project status and contractor performance; performs inspections in the field on special and more complex inspection assignments; conducts final review of all projects. The professional expert will oversee and fully comply with all federal and state laws, 2 CFR 200, OMB rules, other applicable regulations, and all FEMA grant requirements. The candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency and expertise in managing FEMA public assistance, hazard mitigation, programs, community development and block grants. Also, technical capacity to provide problem-solving assistance to ASPIRA’s management is required.
