WESLEYAN ACADEMY SCHOOL DIRECTOR
• Minimum of an MA degree of Arts in Education with a specialization in School Administration, Educational Leadership or related areas; or an Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Education, Educational Leadership or related areas is preferred. • Valid Department of Education School Director Certification (K-12) and the ACSI Head of School Certification are required (if not, conditioned to obtain a provisional certification for one year and regular certification after one year of recruitment).
• At least 10 years of experience as an educator and 5 years of experience as an administrator. • Experience in the utilization of instructional technology. • A committed Evangelical Christian, member of an Evangelical Church, willing to work under the essentials, policies and cultural positions of The Wesleyan Church. Be a member of The Wesleyan Church is preferable. • Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) orally and written.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration: Accounting or Finance. • CPA or Master’s Degree preferred. • Minimum of five years of experience in the complete accounting cycle, budgeting, administration and supervision. • Minimum of two years of experience in supervision of employees • Experience with school finances and non-for-profit
organizations preferred. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). • Organization and project management skills. • Fully bilingual, both oral and written. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Evangelical Christian commitment.
• BA or MA degree in Education • Major in subject matter or school level • Department of Education Certification (4 th – 6 th ) • At least 3 years of teaching experience preferably in Math
• Experience in the utilization of instructional technology • Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish) Must be able to teach the class in English • Evangelical Christian Commitment
