Weather Strips

Seal and protect using weather strips. Our extensive range includes ‘t’ profiles, ‘p’ profiles and ‘u’ profiles. The examples below provide a selection of available profiles. Additional customer specific profiles can be manufactured based on special orders.

‘U’ SECTION RUBBERS

Made from EPDM rubber to provide excellent heat and shock absorption properties as well as resistance to harsh weather. Available in a variety of sizes, round, square and rectangle profiles; black in colour. Additional customer specific sizes can be manufactured based on special orders. Seals

Foam Tapes

Single sided adhesive foam sealing tape is suited for weather seals on doors, windows, cars or boats. It is an effective barrier for sound, rain, dust, odours, insects and light, in addition to preventing warm / cool air loss. Material types include:

POLYETHYLENE (PE)

General purpose foam tape for sealing, vibration and closure applications. Contains water resistant properties but has poor resistance to ozone.

EPDM SPONGE (414)

Black closed cell foam/rubber tape, with good general purpose weather, dust and light sealing properties. Requiring only a light compression to seal, EPDM has excellent resistance to ozone.

NEOPRENE SPONGE (242)

Black closed cell foam/rubber tape for higher demand applications. Much firmer than EPDM, it has very good pressure, vacuum and watertight sealing properties and very good ozone resistance.

POLYURETHANE (PU)

Open cell, low compression, light and dust sealant typically used for draught exclusion. Absorbs water and has poor ozone resistance.

The extrusion rubber in pinchwelds has specialised materials inserted to grip onto various sheet products.

PINCHWELDS

Pinchwelds provide an easy, clean and neat finish to exposed metal, fiberglass, glass, plastic and plywood edges without the use of staples or glue. They help in replacing worn, damaged or faded trim on door openings as well as panel edges on cars, tractors and boats. The examples below provide a selection of available profiles.
