UPDATES: CAREER & VOLUNTEER Marie Kilker ’54 appeared on “Daves Gone By” (NYC) in an extended television interview about how she became interested in theater first through movies and obtaining autographs. She also participated in Unity Theater film in St. Louis on work and friendship with Ralph GreenObituary tribute to leader of black theater.

Sue Riedel ’68 was featured in Clarke University’s virtual event “Building the Field of Dreams” in November 2022. In the hour long special, Sue reflects on her role in helping to bring the Field of Dreams movie to Dyersville, IA and shares the story of how she came to find the farm that would eventually become the iconic set where Kevin Costner played a final game of catch with his dad and captured the hearts and minds of baseball lovers across the nation. Natalie (Jankiewicz) Bogan ’82 works part-time for East Central Indiana CASA as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children.

LaDonna Manternach, BVM ’82 was elected President of the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and began leadership in August 2021. Thomas Schwartz ’92 was named combined Chief Operating Officer/ Chief Financial Officer for Robins Kaplan LLP, a national trial firm. Schwartz joined the firm in 2019 and brings 30 years of experience that spans several industries. He was recently named a Notable Leader in Finance by Twin Cities Business, in large part for his quick work in adapting Robins Kaplan's finance and accounting systems to a remote-work model when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of the firm's offices. Joel Moore ’94 was promoted to Chief Nursing Officer at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport, IA.

Kathleen (Dolphin) Kaufman ’95 graduated from Marian University in Wisconsin in 2006 with a Master's in Organizational Leadership and graduated from Liberty University in Virginia in May of 2021 with a Master's in Human Services Counseling and Life Coaching. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology through Liberty University. She recently left a supervisory job with the State of WI to be at home with her children while they were in distance learning during Covid. In the last year and a half, she has published four children's books. She started blog and is working on a book series for 8-9 year old and a self-improvement/ leadership book for moms.

Monica (Reyes) De La Cruz ’97 was elected to the Clarke University Alumni Association Board. Her term will begin in Fall 2022.
