CAN I RECEIVE ASSISTANCE IN SELECTING COURSES AT MY CURRENT SCHOOL?
Yes! Our dedicated team is happy to assist you with course selection before starting at Clarke, ensuring you get the most transfer credits and stay on track for your intended major.
You may submit unofficial transcripts for an admission decision and unofficial academic credit evaluation, but you must submit official transcripts for enrollment and an official credit evaluation.
IS MY APPLICATION TO CLARKE ALSO AN APPLICATION TO MY MAJOR?
Admission as a transfer student does not imply admission to a specific academic major. Transfer students are encouraged to consult with department faculty during the admission process regarding admission to the major.
Clarke does not have a requirement for admission, but there is a requirement for graduation. If you enter Clarke with an Associates of Arts or Associates of Science, this requirement is waived. Clarke will also waive the requirement if you have either successfully completed at least two years of the same foreign language in high school, or two semesters of the same foreign language in college.
1. Registration opens to new transfer students in April for fall semesters and December for spring semesters.
2. Students must submit their $200 enrollment deposit in order to receive registration information.
3. Students are assigned an academic advisor who will aid them in registering.
Clarke welcomes transfer students in all four residence halls. Check out the residence hall options at clarke.edu/residencehalls.
Students are required to live on campus until age 21 unless they obtain a housing waiver, live within 30 miles of campus, or live with a parent.
