TERM 4 We’re very rapidly approaching the end of 2019. It’s been another big year at the Conservatorium with plenty still to come in Term 4. To the students who have recently joined us we welcome you to the Conservatorium community and hope you’ll enjoy the experience. Application forms for Music and Drama Scholarships 2020 are now available. Scholarships are available for both music and drama students, and are awarded to students who are advanced, and to students who demonstrate potential and commitment. Scholarships are also available for ensemble students. Closing date for applications is Friday, 1 November. Drama Scholarship auditions will be held on Friday 15 November, and Music Scholarship auditions will be held on Saturday 16 November. Applications are available from the CVCon office, or you can apply online.
Arrebato Ensemble Music and dance exploring the passion and sadness of flamenco. Arrebato Ensemble is Greg Alfonzetti, Damian de Boos-Smith and Byron Mark, three passionate musicians who write with all aspects of their heart, creating a mesmerising and highly dynamic journey for their audience. The group’s music is primarily contemporary flamenco, with elements of classical, jazz, film soundtrack and folk music. Arrebato Ensemble has performed at the Sydney Opera House, regional festivals and at WOMADelaide. Presented in association with Musica Viva.
