Volunteers Week 2023

Lunch-time Recital Programme

2023 marked the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June), when thousands of charities and voluntary organisations recognised the contribution volunteers make across the UK.

Volunteers’ Week is supported by small grassroots organisations as well as larger, household-name charities, who together run hundreds of activities across the UK. The contribution of volunteers is often unseen and unrecognised by many, visible only through the incredible impact of their volunteering. Taking the time during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate their efforts and all they contribute to local communities has never been more important.

The Clarence Hall is fortunate to have a talented team of Trustees and other volunteers who generously give their time to support us in so many ways. Without their assistance, the Hall would not be in the position it is today – we are so grateful to you all!

Supporting local performing artists, the Clarence Hall lunch-time Recital Programme continues on Saturday, 1 July from 12.30-1.30pm, featuring Crickhowell Community Band and Lloyd Jeremiah, a talented young pianist from Crickhowell. Admission and tea & coffee is free but there will be a collection for the Clarence Hall Refurbishment Appeal. This series is sponsored by the Clarence Hall for the community.
