INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Stable Court Uniform Guide for 2026–2027.
Uniforms play a vital role in school life - a shared dress code simplifies clothing choices and daily decision-making for everyone. Additionally, uniforms foster a sense of belonging within our school community, creates a unified identity, and sets the right mindset for learning.
It is essential for us that all pupils feel comfortable in their uniforms, ensuring they are practical for the demands of the day while maintaining a high standard both on and off campus
Please support us in ensuring that all uniforms, sports kits, equipment, and stationery (including shoes and socks) are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
It is reasonable to expect that uniforms will wear out due to frequent use, the considerable wear and tear of school life, and the rapid growth of our pupils during their time at Stable Court. Items should be replaced when they become worn , or if a pupil has outgrown them. For instance, it is typical for trousers, school shoes, and shirts to last about one academic year, while skirts, games shorts, and pullovers may last around two academic years, although this can vary for each pupil
WHERE TO PURCHASE UNIFORM
From this year, Claremont will be working with Perry Uniform to supply new items of uniform.
Perry provides free delivery and free returns, along with an open-ended returns policy for unworn items from the uniform list, regardless of their value They also offer a nametape sew-in service to simplify the process for families

All pupils should maintain a smart appearance whilst on the school campus and travelling to and from school Hair styles should be should be neat, clean and not obscure the face In certain instances, such as PE, science and DT, hair may need to be tied up. Hair should not be extreme or unnatural. For those with pierced ears, one or at most two studs in each ear is acceptable. No other jewellery should be worn. Makeup or nail varnish is not permitted. Exceptions to all these rules for religious or other personal reasons, should be discussed with heads of house and agreed with them and the Deputy Head (Pastoral) in advance of any change

SUMMER TERM ONLY - Years 3-5 must wear checked dress OR navy shorts/collared shirt/tie. Year 6 pupils can wear the summer uniform or continue with the revere collar shirt and navy kilt, trousers or shorts.
