ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT RESOURCE HUB

WELCOME

I am delighted to introduce this first edition of the JGP enrichment booklet, which has been designed to inspire curiosity, deepen learning, and encourage independent exploration across a wide range of subjects that you study here at Claremont. The Joyce Grenfell Programme offers a rich and diverse array of opportunities for you as pupils to stretch your thinking and discover new interests beyond the classroom.
Within this booklet, you’ll find carefully selected resources from your teachers that will allow you to explore your favourite subjects in greater depth.
Whether you’re fascinated by biology, drawn to DT, captivated by history, or eager to investigate current geopolitical events, there is something here for everyone.
I encourage you to engage fully with this booklet take time to work through the materials, reflect on what you learn, and share your thoughts and discoveries with your teachers. These enrichment activities are designed not just to build knowledge, but also to help you grow in confidence, curiosity, and creativity.
Please do take the opportunity to speak with your teachers about anything that sparks your interest or raises questions. They are here to support and guide you as you explore the many fascinating topics included.
We hope this booklet becomes a valuable companion on your learning journey and helps you to find even more enjoyment in the subjects you love.
Andy Pinks, JGP enrichment & scholarship
