MANDI FORTNER STATE FARM Miss Blackberry Queens participate in the Clanton Christmas Tree Lighting event.

Lougher admits she has always loved blackberries. The Jemison teenager stays busy. “A typical day for me is waking up at 6 a.m. and going to school, leaving at 11:30 a.m., then heading home, or to work if it is work then I get off at 7 p.m. and go to the gym for 45 minutes, then home where I eat supper with my family and go straight to bed,” Lougher said. Lougher said she hopes to continue working to be a good example to others and a person for little girls to look up to as a role model. “Since I won the title, my other queens, their moms, and especially 24 peach living

Pam and her family have had a huge impact on who I am today,” Lougher said. “It has changed me for the better and that is what is important to me to show people how great it is to be a county queen. You do not just win a title, but you get a whole family out of the experience and I would like to show everyone that.” Lougher currently attends Jemison High School where she is an SGA treasurer, she is involved in FFA, DECA, BETA and FCCLA. Lougher also works at Glitz and Gowns and Peach Park. She is the daughter of Heather and Scottie Brothers and Mickey Lougher.
