Spring 2020 had been one of those time periods that’s had us all in various emotional mindsets. With the rising pandemic of the Corona Virus and its resulting issues the world seems to have come to a grinding halt. Basic daily activities have been limited or stopped all together. With that, businesses and the economy have been impacted in ways we can’t even fully fathom.
I know that we have all had to adjust to the changing landscape of our world and CKW-Magazine is no exception. Our spring released issue is normally full of upcoming Kentucky Derby highlights, concerts, and festivals among other events. However, this year we are literally at a stall. The events all have been canceled or postpone. The concerts and festivals immediately put on pause and our daily lives inching along in uncertainty. Yet, we still see the rising compassion and love from everyday citizens, corporations and community across the globe.
