Your Cranbrook Kingswood Alumni Association has had a busy and productive year, thanks to participants, volunteers and the wonderful foundation provided by the alumni dues program. Your contributions helped fund many events, awards and initiatives during the 2017-18 school year, including: • Events to support students such as the Alumni Career Fair, the 4A Club’s Holiday Cheer Alumni Reunion, and the annual barbeque to welcome graduating seniors as alumni • Alumni athletic events including soccer, hockey, basketball, softball, lacrosse and tennis • Alumni outreach events in New York, Boston and Chicago • Alumni Awards like the Distinguished Alumni Award and Honorary Alumni titles It was especially rewarding to be able to confer Honorary Alum status on retiring faculty members Claudia Schuette and David Watson last spring and give them their school rings. The alumni dues program makes initiatives like this possible! It has been a source of pride to see the growth and popularity of our annual Alumni Career Fair for students, which featured the talent of nearly 70 alumni volunteers last year. This event has become a highlight for career-minded juniors and seniors. Thank you to our dues-paying members whose contributions allow this and other activities to flourish. We would also like to thank our Lifetime Members for their commitment to the organization. We are grateful for alumni support at all levels, which is vital to our mission to connect and engage alumni.
