C1 Minutes May 23 2017

Carol opened the meeting Carol gave a general project update Kathy asked where the fill from C2 was going to -

Carol answered that previously it was going to the Three Kings Quarry, but there were other appropriate places that are being looked into

Kathy asked if the collective impact of vibration and movement due to works would register on soldata devices -

Carol answered that it does register the movement as it’s quite sensitive and is able to register anything unusual

Kathy added that the shaking on lower levels affects higher levels

Richard advised that there are target levels for each device, that when triggered will be registered

Chris added that existing damage prior to CRL is taken into account in order to monitor any differences or possible damage that may occur during construction

Chris advised Kathy that if she notices any cracks that have developed, to let the team know

Dale presented the C1 update Sarah presented on environment and sustainability as part of C1 -

Ross asked if works took place 7am to 7pm, 6 days a week

Sarah confirmed this

Carol presented the historical objects found in C1 and Fort Lane Chris presented the C2 update -

Ross asked in regards to the picture on slide _ what the vertical beams were

Chris answered that they were joiners to assist with holding up the permanent hoardings

Stephen asked if the bus bays had been finalised for Albert St

-

Chris answered that AT was still finalising the design

-

Stephen suggested that Albert St could be more pedestrian friendly by putting the bus bay underground as well

-

Carol answered that the general plan was to keep people above ground

-

Ross advised that the vents in their apartment would need to be cleaned

-

Chris answered that he would look into this

-

Kathy asked for an update on the 41 Albert St sign

-

Carol answered that she would follow up on this

-

Kathy advised that Naylor Love would be in touch with CRL about the damage to their apartment’s canopy

David asked if there would be any night or Sunday works coming soon

-

Chris answered that the times of works would stay the same for now, however if there were special circumstances they would work outside of normal work hours

-

David and Ross advised that the barrier movements were quite loud, however they understood the need to do this at night

-

Chris advised that once the hoardings move to the road, this won’t be occurring as much

-

Ross asked when the backfill would start to go in

-

Chris answered that it’ll be when they’re 100m in and it should start by first or second quarter of 2018

Kathy asked if everything was on target in regards to timing

-

Chris answered that they were and it is predicted to be finished at the end of 2019

Kathy advised that some developers would like to work on the building between 41 Albert St and The Grove

-

Richard advised that access wouldn’t be possible there until the hole in Albert St is filled again
