Carol gave a project update -

Is the project on schedule? – Yes

Brandy & Nick gave an update on C1 -

CLG members praised Brandy & Downer for their communication as well as their ability to keep access to Britomart open & commuters informed

Are the bus services impacted on Commerce St? – No, but subject to stop, go management

Will Galway St be open for the whole time? – Yes

When main entrance at Commerce St is completed, what will happen to the Lower Queen St entrance? – They’ll both be open for two weeks, then the Lower Queen St entrances will close

Noel shared concern over the trees on Lower Queen St being moved, the amount of time the port-a-loos were on Lower Queen St for the recent rugby game & the port-acoms currently on Lower Queen St – Carol advised that the construction interrupting Lower Queen St has not been because of CRL works, therefore it is out of our control. However Holly (Activation Manager) will be in touch to discuss what will be happening in Lower Queen St moving forward in regards to activation

Will hit sticks eventually become hoardings? – Yes

How high will the hoardings be outside of the Endeans building? – Same as they are elsewhere

When do the hoardings go up in Lower Queen St? – May 2017

Noel advised that dust has been getting onto the Endeans building & has raised this with Precinct & Fletchers

Noel suggested putting in public toilets on the corner of Tyler St & Commerce St – Richard advised that this was difficult as Rabo Bank have expressed concern over this

Chris Powell gave an update on C2 -

SP2 works will be done the 3rd week of August? – Yes

Will work pause over the holiday period? – Yes, will start back on the 4th or 9th of January. The TBM will be pulled out at Swanson St on the 23rd of December. No noisy works will be happening as a result of the TBM

Kathy reported some noise & vibration happening recently – Trying to minimize aspects, however the rig is quite large. Hoping this won’t be long term

Bob Mawdsley presented on the Groundwater & Settlement Monitoring & Contingency Plan -

Richard advised that this plan relates specifically to C2, however there will eventually be a similar plan for C1

If we see visual damage, how do we feed that into your monitoring system? – Let contractors & AT know about it. Surveys have been carried out on buildings prior to starting works

High water goes under the Precinct building, how will groundwater affect that? – Precinct have their own plan for this but Connectus & CRL have seen it. Information has been shared & taken into account for this plan

Has the information from this plan been fed into Precinct’s plan as well? – It has been shared, but the works in each area won’t affect each other

For individual unit owners, damage won’t be evident until there’s cracks in the wall – CRL & contractor will check this you & do a pre-assessments

General questions & comments -

Kathy reported some vibration/shakes in her building as early as this morning – There have been monitoring devices set up along Albert St that record the vibration to ensure that it picks up if the vibration has gone above the allowed limit

Chris advised that monitoring of noise & vibration can be done in their building

Kathy commented that the upkeep of the cleanliness of the hoardings was good, as well as the lighting. Access to her apartment isn’t obvious from the street – Chris advised that he would advise an alternative area for access
