Children12andundermustbeaccompaniedbyan adultorolderyouth14andolder Allindividuals musthavetheirvisitorpassormembershiptovisit thepools.Childrenages13-17mayenterwithout anadultiftheyhaveavalidvisitorpassor membership.PoolPassescanbepurchasedat eitherpool,WoosterCommunityCenter,oreither WoosterBuehlerslocations.

InclementWeather
Atthesound/sightofthunder/lightning, thepoolwillbeclearedfor30minutes. Heavyraincanobstructvisibility,andthe poolwillbecleareduntiltherainorwind slowsandvisibilityimproves.
Thepoolwillremaincloseduntilthe waterisdeemedsafetore-enter Refundswillnotbeissuedfordaily admission
Aquaticprograms,eventsandrentals willbeonasscheduledwhenthe forecastedairtemperatureisatleast 65°Fandweatherconditionsallow. Iftheforecastedhightemperaturefor thedayis60°F(orlower),CityofWooster aquaticfacilitieswillremainclosed KnightsFieldSpraygroundwillremain closediftheforecastedhigh temperatureforthedayislessthan65°F.
SubstanceandBehavior Policies
Noalcohol,drugs,smoking,orvaping/ecigarettesareallowedinthepoolarea. Personssuspectedtobeunderthe influenceofalcoholordrugswillbe deniedentryorrequiredtoleavethe premises.
Thereshallbenorunning,dunking,towel snapping,horseplay,pushing,throwingof litter,oranyotheractivitydeemed dangerousorinappropriatebythe lifeguardsormanagement. Profanityorabusivelanguagewillnotbe tolerated

Health&Hygiene

The City of Wooster regulations require all persons to wear a bathing suit with a hygienic linerwhileswimming.Clothingisonlypermittedontopofabathingsuit.Athleticshortsare notconsideredaswimsuit.Ifapatronisnotwearingabathingsuit,theywillbeaskedtoexit thefacility.

Play&Behavior
Nothrowingordunkingother swimmers.
Splashingisallowedonlyinthe designatedsplashzone(centerofthe pool).
Anyonenottoilettrainedmustwear aquadiapers.
Properswimwearisrequiredatall times (Seediagramforapproved swimwear.)
Lewdorinappropriatetouchingis prohibited.
WaterSafety
POOLRULES
Nospittingwaterinoraroundthepool,exceptwhenmedicallynecessary(ex duetochokingor waterinhalation)
Enterthepoolfeetfirst–nodiving,flipsorspinsfromthepooledge. Childrenunder5mustbewithinarm’sreachofaresponsiblepersoninthewateratalltimes. Youth13andoldermaystayatthepoolwithoutsupervision. Youth14andoldermayactasaresponsiblepersonforyoungerchildren.
Thereisarestperiodatthetopofeveryhour.Duringthistime,onlyadultsandchildrenunder5 (withanadult)mayremaininthewater.

Patronswithopenwounds,band-aids,stitches,orskininfectionsarenotallowedinthepool
Breastfeedingmothersareallowedtobreastfeedinanypublicplace,includingpoolareas,as protectedbyOhioRevisedCode3781.55.
Poolrulesmustbefollowedatalltimes.Failuretocomplymayresultinremovalfromthe premises.Pleasenotethatrefundswillnotbeissuedforruleviolations,andmembershipsmay besuspendedorrevokedatthediscretionoffacilitymanagement.
