Fall in West Bend is the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors and explore our vibrant community. Our 1,300-acre park and open spaces offer diverse recreational opportunities. The Glacial Edge Area Riding Society (GEARS) has recently completed new bike trails in the wooded sections of Regner Park. You can also explore the interconnected Eisenbahn Trail, Ice Age Trail, and Riverwalk. Birdwatching enthusiasts will find excellent spots throughout our park system. Don’t miss the highly anticipated Lac Lawrann Conservancy Luminary Walk on October 19.
Our recreational programs are abundant this season. Youth can participate in gymnastics, flag football, soccer, baseball, and archery. Adults can join programs like women’s health and fitness, Judo, ballroom dance, and volleyball. Lac Lawrann will once again host Little Hikers for ages 3-5.
The Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department offers a wide range of recreational activities, both indoor and outdoor, for everyone in our community.

A resident is any person who lives within the corporate city limits of West Bend. This is not to be confused with a West Bend area school district resident. City and school district boundaries are not the same. A non-resident is anyone who lives outside the City limits. The City of West Bend Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is supported by the residents of the City of West Bend through taxes. Non-residents pay their fair share through an additional surcharge established by the Park & Recreation Commission.
Credit or refund will be made under the following conditions:
• If the Department cancels the activity or is unable to fulfill your request, a full credit/refund will be made.
• If you cancel prior to the start of an activity a $5.00 administrative fee will be charged.
• Credit/refund will not be issued after an activity begins.
We guarantee your satisfaction with our recreation programs. If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, please fill out a form obtained at the Parks Department office. You will receive a credit that can be applied to another program, or a refund with the Director’s approval.
