Look for the light green background when searching for programs offered at no cost to the community.

Find programs designed for kids, parents, caregivers, grandparents, and C.I.T.Y. parents including playgroups, meet-ups, and respite care.

THERAPEUTIC ENRICHMENT CLASSES

FREE These teacher/therapist-led classes provide the perfect place for all children to practice skills in a natural, social, accommodating, & affordable environment.

These classes are not billable to insurance or meant to replace individual therapy.

SESSION: $20/CLASS

SINGLE CLASS: $25

Adult participation varies based on the class, but all parents must plan to remain on-site during these classes. The descriptions on the next pages provide suggested ages for each class. Come join Claudia a board certified, licensed occupational therapist and owner of Unbounded Potential as we use lego-style bricks and work together for epic builds and awesome social adventures. This club promotes friendships, social communication, confidence, and most importantly, FUN! Adult participation is optional

Want to expose your child to food experiences in a low-pressure, highly-social environment? This is the class where it's all about exploration and increasing our comfort with less-familiar foods, often leading to progress in expanding our food repertoires. Adult participation is optional

This unique class creates differentiated learning experiences for young children (birth-6 years) to practice using motor-speech principles of learning to target functional vocabulary & expressive language growth in a social setting. Adult participation is required.

Teacher: Nadia, Occupational Therapist and Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT)

Ages: 9-13 years

This offers gentle strengthening and stretching, fun poses for children and adults, and breathing exercises. Suitable for all skill levels, it aims to provide a relaxing and fun experience for the whole family, promoting both relaxation and connection. Participation of at least one adult is required.

Teacher: Theresa, Founder of Cardio Kidz

Ages: 2-5 years

Join us for a fun, imaginative movement class designed especially for young children of all abilities! Little Movers uses music, storytelling, and playful activities to help kids build confidence, coordination, and social skills — all through simple, energetic movement. Adult participation is required for 2-year-olds; optional for older children.

Crimson Heart Yoga is a warm, imaginative yoga class designed to help kids build confidence, focus, and emotional awareness. Through gentle movement, stories, breathwork, and mindfulness games kids will build strength and confidence. Adults must remain on-site

Ages: 1-5 years

Join us for singing, dancing, and instrument playing! Prospect Music Therapy's Licensed, Board Certified Music Therapist will lead the group in musical experiences that support communication and social development. Adult participation is required.

Join us each week as we welcome guests from the Arlington Heights Memorial Library and other local libraries to share their favorite stories, guided rhymes, music, and movement activities. Adult participation is required.

THURS 5:00-5:45pm

Come relax and spend time with our certified therapy dogs from Homegrown Therapy Dogs. Families are welcome to stop in, pet, and enjoy their calming company. Optional dog-themed activities will also be available for added fun!

TWO DIFFERENT GROUPS:

Like our other parent programs, although you can sign up for just one date at a time, you are encouraged to sign up for the entire session in order to build relationships with consistent attendance each week. Prioritize this time for YOU! THURS 7:00-7:45pm SAT 10:00-10:45am
