C.I.T.Y. Close-Up: Meet Connor
According to his mom:
"Magnetic, inquisitive, bold and creative, Connor has enchanted our family since the day he was born! At only 9 years old, he often tells stories as if he has lived on this planet for decades. He is a history lover and enjoys watching documentaries about American battles and natural disasters, often sharing facts and anecdotes with anyone he encounters. He was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD when he was 4.5 years old and has been in multiple therapies ever since. As a family, the roller coaster ride has been thrilling and uncertain, but always more fun than we ever expected Connor has given us the opportunity to become better humans and to help others understand the gift of neurodiversity. I was so happy to find C.I.T.Y of Support and join a parenting group where I forged new friendships and learned more about resources for Connor. It's so important to be connected, both for our children, but also those of us caring for them."

2025 C.I.T.Y. PRINTED CALENDARS
We are busy designing next year’s CITY calendar, and we plan to distribute these to supporters at libraries, banks, pediatrician offices, dentist offices, therapy clinics, & local businesses all around Chicagoland. Last year, we gave away over 800 copies, helping to significantly increase awareness for our organization and connect parents with our free resources & opportunities.
We are actively looking for 12 businesses to be featured in our calendar (1 per month). These businesses will not only help us cover the cost of printing & shipping these calendars, but they will also gain increased visibility across the area as one of our most dedicated sponsors.
