For the 3rd year in a row, we have facilitated a community-wide book discussion with our “You Gotta Read This!” challenge. We were so honored to speak with Kelley Coleman this year.
C.I.T.Y. OF SUPPORT AND LIBRARIES ARE NATURAL PARTNERS, AS WE BOTH AIM TO MAKE PROGRAMS ACCESSIBLE, INCLUSIVE, AND WELCOMING FOR ALL (AND AT NO COST TO FAMILIES) OCTOBER'S

C.I.T.Y. partnered with the Arlington Heights library to fund the creation of one of the state's first Accessibility Support Collections. This collection provides families with access to borrow materials, tools, & toys designed specifically for children in therapy.
“Did you know that the Arlington Heights Memorial Library has an Accessibility Support Collection with more than 350 items: printed materials, therapeutic toys, and tools? This was made possible thanks to C.I.T.Y. of Support-thank you-and... provides an opportunity for families and therapists to try out specialized items before purchasing them.”
