Page 1

MESSAGE FROM THE CITY MANAGER

Summer has arrived in Suffolk, and it’s the perfect time to explore everything our community offers. As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we invite you to reflect on our history and enjoy the events that bring Suffolk to life.

The Suffolk Farmers’ Market returns May 2nd to the Suffolk Visitor Center, featuring fresh produce and handcrafted goods. Celebrate Independence Day at the Stars and Stripes Spectacular on July 4th at Constant’s Wharf Park, and don’t miss the 2nd Annual Suffolk Pickle Palooza on July 19th at Downtown Festival Park, a fan favorite that’s sure to be a big dill.

The T.G.I.F. Summer Concert Series kicks off at Downtown Festival Park before moving to Bennett’s Creek Park, offering live music and summer fun. Suffolk’s scenic parks and recreation programs invite everyone outdoors to enjoy trails, disc golf, and camps for all ages.

The Suffolk Public Library is the place to stay cool and creative, with engaging programs and the new Downtown Suffolk Library opening later this year. Don’t miss Iconicon on May 30th at the North Suffolk Library for a full day of arts, tech, and family activities.

Thank you for being part of Suffolk’s vibrant community. Let’s make lasting memories together this summer.
