Academy sessions will provide an overview of: Fire Administration Emergency Medical Services Support Services Division Technical Rescue Technical Services Division Search and Rescue Operations Division Fire Prevention Fire Suppression Emergency Management •
The academy will be held 2 nights per week (Mondays & Wednesdays) for 5 weeks, except as noted below. The academy begins November 6, 2017 and ends December 6, 2017. Class is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Fire Station #6 at 300 Kings Fork Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. Note: Sessions will be held Monday and Tuesday the week of November 20. Sessions will involve classroom & practical lessons.

An optional Saturday session for Heart Saver CPR Certification will be offered at no cost to the student. Individual students may opt out if they wish. This optional class will be held on December 2, 2017 at Fire Station #6 provided an adequate number of students wish to attend.
