MEET AND CONVERSE WITH SOUTH EL MONTE DEPUTIES AT AN EVENING WITH A COP EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 28
City leaders and officials invite our community members to join them and the South El Monte Sheriff’s Team for An Evening with a Cop event. The event will take place on Thursday, September 28 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at Dunkin’, 1955 Durfee Avenue., Suite E, South El Monte.
The Evening with the Cop events are designed for our community members to meet and interact with the deputies that who serve and protect South El Monte citizens and to foster positive relationships.
The majority of law enforcement contact with the public is during a time of emergency or other crisis. During those situations, they are not the most effective time to build relationships. Evening with a Cop aims to break down barriers by providing community members the opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the South El Monte Sheriff’s Team in a relaxed setting. The event is informal with no speeches, presentations or agendas. Free pizza, donuts and coffee will be provided. For additional information, please call (626) 579-2043.
All City facilities will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023 , in observance of Labor Day.
