CITY NEEDS YOUR INPUT FOR HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE

YOUR IDEAS ARE A VITAL PART OF THIS PROCESS

The City of South El Monte is in the process of updating its housing plan called the “Housing Element” and invites community members to participate. The Housing Element is a living document that sets goals, policies, and actions that address the housing needs of current and anticipated residents at all income levels in the City. Cities and counties by law are required to update their housing elements every eight years. City Officials believe our community’s input is critical and encourage community members to submit their feedback in the Housing Element survey, which is available online until July 23, 2021 and accessible at:

NO ILLEGAL FIREWORKS IN SOUTH EL MONTE! $1,000 FINE

English : https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HousingElementSurvey Spanish: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/EncuestaDeLaVivienda The survey will gather community feedback about housing preferences and needs, and will review the key concepts that will guide the 2021-2029 Housing Element Update including preventing displacement, providing access to opportunity, increasing production of housing, the built environment, and providing housing opportunities for South El Monte residents.
