PUBLIC WORKS UPDATE

We are excited to bring you an update on some ongoing projects from the Public Works Department.

Water Meter Replacement by Aquametrics: We are pleased to announce that Aquametrics has completed the installation of approximately half of the new water meters throughout the city. We anticipate that all meters will be replaced within the next 4-5 weeks, bringing enhanced accuracy and efficiency to our water management system.

Completion of Elevated Water Tank Painting: The painting of the elevated water tank located on Acer is now finished, ensuring its continued structural integrity and aesthetic appeal

Installation of Water Level Indicators: New water level indicators have been successfully installed at each of our elevated storage tanks This enhancement allows us to closely monitor our water supplies, ensuring optimal management and distribution.

Water/Drought Contingency Plan: Our water department is diligently working on finalizing the water/drought contingency plan, scheduled to be completed by April 14th We invite you to participate in the public hearing scheduled for May 1st to provide your valuable input and feedback on this critical aspect of water resource management

Annual Water Quality Report: The Annual Water Quality Report is currently being finalized and will soon be available for viewing on our website. We anticipate it to be posted by the middle of June, providing transparent insights into the quality of our water supply
