Now Open – The Whistle Stop Coffee & Tea Room (located in Vintage Variety – 308 Bolivar Street) This charming coffee & tea room offers a variety of tea, coffee, sandwiches, salads, and even something for the kids! They are open Tuesday-Saturday 11-4pm.

Uptown Rail Brewery –204 Bolivar Street

Renovations are almost complete and the brewery aims to open its doors for business by the end of summer! The new brewery plans to offer live music, games, and space that people can enjoy.

Papa Ds Mexican Cuisine -

311 N. 4th Street

Papa Ds is a locally owned restaurant serving authentic Tex-Mex. They will open in late September and will offer a variety of options from lunch, and dinner, to all-day breakfast.

City Council Approves Downtown Park Conceptual Plan

The Sanger City Council unanimously approved the conceptual plan of the new downtown park at 103 Bolivar Street during the council meeting held on July 15, 2024. The railroad theme design was presented by David Shipp of MHS Planning & Design, and the key features of the conceptual design include a 40,000 sq. ft. Depot, Pavilion, Fountain Plaza, Shade Structures, Concert Terrace, Water Tower, Railyard, and Concert Stage.

Property Enhancement Incentive Program

• All businesses in the City of Sanger are eligible.

• This program provides grants in the form of reimbursement for up to $10,000 for eligible improvements to business facades.

• Participants are eligible for up to one grant in a twelve-month period from completion of the previous grant.

• Applications are available online at www.sangertxedc.org

Business Spotlight Videos

• All business owners and entrepreneurs in the City of Sanger are eligible to participate.

• The Sanger EDC will produce one free video within a twelve-month timeframe.

• Videos are shared with the business owner and posted on the EDC social pages.

• Business owners are encouraged to use them to promote their business.
