Digital Art Makers Tuesdays, commencing 3 May to 7 June 3:45pm to 5pm Ages: 8 to 17 years This six week introductory course in Digital Art looks at how new and evolving technology influences the creative process. You'll learn the principles of digital art and try out different techniques like digital painting, drawing, and even generating short animations. Use the library's virtual and augmented Reality and tablets to get creative in 2D and 3D. COST: $30 for 6 weeks.

The Salisbury local history collection is located at the Salisbury Community Hub. The Haunting History of Salisbury Tour Behind the well-known buildings of modern day Salisbury lurks a fascinating history just waiting to be discovered.

Embark on an easy walking tour at your own pace, covering about 2km and featuring 12 stops (pick up a free guide at the Salisbury Community Hub).

Para Hills Community Hub Term 2 April | May | June 2022 Game Makers Mondays (6 weeks), commencing 2 May, 3.45pm to 5pm Ages: 8 to 12 years Learn all about game design and create your own game in this six week course.

Video games are one of the largest entertainment industries and in this program participants will explore how to make their own video games. Drawing on classic games participants will code a number of different game genres.

The program will conclude with a game jam where participants will design and code their own game.
