Jibba Jabba is brought to you by Tea Tree Gully, Gawler, Salisbury and Playford Councils. This eZine is your guide to what is happening in and around your local area. Look out for this guide which will come out four times a year. There are many local services in each council area that have a specific youth focus and you can jump straight to their websites from the attached links.

Are you interested in music? Always thought it would be cool to be a radio presenter? Interested in learning new skills and being on radio? We are looking for 8 enthusiastic and committed young people to be trained up as radio presenters! No experience is needed as you will gain industry training to assist in presenting the Jibba Jabba radio show from PBA FM radio station in Salisbury. Participants will work in two teams over a 6 month period and meet each Friday night 4-6pm to research, develop and host the Jibba Jabba radio program. To be involved you need to be 16 to 25 years and live, study, volunteer or work in the City of Salisbury or the City of Playford.

What’s On! Wearable Art – Creat a t-shirt

Basic Barista
This class is designed to be fun and informative. It is hands on and no prior knowledge or skills are required, we will teach you on the day. We will cover how to make a perfect espresso shot and then master pouring a perfect coffee. Learn about different roast profiles, how to grind coffee beans and how to stretch and pour milk. Age:

What’s On! Gawler Youth Film Festival
Film making provides an avenue to tell stories, entertain and inspire. The Gawler Youth Film Festival was designed to celebrate the creativeness and skill of young film makers. Established in 2012, it provides an opportunity for their work to be seen publicly, receive community recognition and reward creative talent. The Gawler Youth Film Festival is open to youth aged 12-25 years to submit an original film of less than five minutes and will culminate in a public viewing night to be attended by film makers, family & community. Holiday Skating
Gawler Blue Light conducts 11 ‘Underage Rage’ dance events each year for ages 8-17 years. Drug and alcohol education and safety messages are a focus at these events, via the large screens, as is interaction with the youth. Money raised from events goes towards Youth Programs and Projects.

Youth Sports Person Sponsorship Roller Skating Program Disco The Town of Gawler recognises and encourages the achievements of young people aged 12-25 years of age in our community, by providing sponsorship for State and/ or National representation in sporting activities. Sponsorship of $200 for State representation and $300 for National representation is available.
The disco plays the latest music with loads of fantastic games during the session.
