your guide to staying active

Welcome to the City of Pico Rivera Parks and Recreation Winter/Spring Guide!

On behalf of the entire Parks and Recreation team, I am excited to welcome you to another season of vibrant programming and community activities in Pico Rivera! Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for Pico Rivera’s present and future generations by providing safe, welcoming parks and facilities, creative programs, and promoting opportunities for healthy lifestyles.

Pico Rivera has nine beautiful parks, 21 sports fields, a 9-hole golf course, and offers an array of recreational classes, trips and tours, and programs for youth, teens, adults and seniors. In addition to our extensive program offerings, we are proud to offer our Veterans Resource Center, located at our Senior Center, with services dedicated to helping and assisting our beloved veterans and their family members.

Our department takes pride in providing programs that bring generations of families back to enjoy our amenities. In fact, many of our residents find employment opportunities in the city or within our department. As such, everyone who works in the city and our department is deeply invested in our community. Our desire is to create programs, events and opportunities that will help shape lifelong memories for generations to come.

We welcome your feedback and ideas and would love to hear from you! If you have any suggestions for new programs or events, or any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at (562) 801-4430. Your input helps us shape the future of our parks and programs!
