This year marks the 25th anniversary of Paramount's Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Join us for a spirited evening featuring Vilma Diaz y La Sonora at 7:30 p.m. Indulge in complimentary servings of hot chocolate and cookies while eagerly anticipating the arrival of Santa Claus.

Santa’s Snowfest Fun

Santa will transform Paramount Park into a winter wonderland!

This year's festivities will begin later in the afternoon but will retain all the fantastic SnowFest attractions, including sled runs, a snow play area, Santa's craft village, and more.

In lieu of meal tickets, food will be available for purchase from local vendors. Snow play is free for all participants.

Take a Photo With S anta Claus Photo sessions will be available by appointment on Saturday, December 9 at the Paramount Park Community Center for $10.

Re cycle Your Christmas Tree

Through Athens Services, Paramount residents can recycle their Christmas trees for free via curbside pick-up from December 26, 2023, through January 12, 2024, for single-family residential accounts.

After January 13, 2024, your tree can still be recycled by scheduling a bulky item pick-up.

As the holiday shopping season approaches, remember that if you’re buying second hand items online, you can utilize the Safe Internet Purchase Exchange Zone at the Paramount Sheriff’s Station.

It's well-lit and equipped with surveillance cameras, providing a safer environment for residents to exchange goods. The station is located at 15001 Paramount Blvd.

Vacation home checks

If you’re a Paramount resident and you’re planning to be out of town during the upcoming holidays, you can contact the Sheriff’s Station for a free vacation home check.

To arrange for this service, call (562) 220-2002 and try to notify them at least two weeks in advance.

PARAMOUNT ELECTION DAY IS MARCH 5, 2024 The next City of Paramount General Municipal Election will be held on March 5, 2024, for three seats on the City Council. The Los Angeles Registrar Recorder/County Clerk is the primary source for voter registration and local election information. Visit www.lavote.gov for complete election information.

Nomination papers and candidate packets will be available during the Nomination Period November 13 through December 8, 2023.
