Apply for a PEP College Scholarship
The Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) Scholarship Program awards scholarships each year with the goal of making education beyond high school financially accessible for local students. The scholarships are administered through the non-profit Paramount Education Partnership Foundation, Inc.
The application must be submitted in person or by mail by May 30, 2012.

New ID Band for Recreation Swim
Summer is just around the corner and that means swim season at the City pools. This year we will be requiring resident identification to get the resident rates for recreation swim at Paramount Pool.
All Paramount residents and PUSD families are eligible for our new identification band. This resident identification band will be the only method accepted for resident rates at Paramount Pool.
The bands can be purchased for a one-time fee of $1.00 and are good for the entire summer.
The bands will be available for purchase beginning May 21st at the Community Services and Recreation Office at 15300 Downey Ave.

Nominate a Beautiful Home or Business
If you're aware of a home or business in great condition (including your own), nominate it for Paramount's annual property beautification contest called "Paramount Pride."
All we need is the address of the property. It's that easy. Winners will be honored by the City Council and will receive a gift basket and a beautiful lawn sign. Go to www.paramountcity.com to submit nominations.
