Hundreds of homeowners in Paramount have had their houses given a makeover through the City’s Home Improvement Program.
It’s an amazing program that has beautified the neighborhoods of Paramount and raised property values.
Best of all . . . the City pays for most of the cost.
The Home Improvement Program provides structural and cosmetic improvements – stucco and paint, windows and doors, landscaping, garage doors, architectural details, and more. The City covers 80 – 90% of the cost for qualifying owners.

In addition to the overall Home Improvement Program, the City of Paramount offers other targeted opportunities to enhance the value of your property.
For instance, the City will pay 75% of the cost to replace a chain-link fence with a white vinyl picket fence. There is also a garage door replacement program that supplies 75% of the cost to remove an old door and install an aluminum, motorized roll-up door. Plus, you can gain the City’s help in upgrading the roof of your home.
